This kind of courtyard layout is one of five at Saintly Charity Nursing Home, prepared for couples who wish to retire here but still want to live independently.
Knowing that Grandma Li might not be accustomed to having service personnel deliver meals three times a day, An Ran had Dean Fang specially prepare this type of courtyard.
The bedding in the bedroom is new, and the wardrobe is empty.
"Every season, the nursing home distributes new clothes to the elderly, but since we don't know Grandma Li's preferences and sizes, after she arrives, a staff member will assist her in choosing clothes," Dean Fang explained.
