The doors of the Guild Hall closed behind them with a soft thud.
For a moment, Aamir and Kunal just stood there, letting the noise of the city settle around them.
The streets of Aurelion were alive.
People moved in steady flows—calm, unhurried, yet purposeful. Golden light reflected off stone paths and buildings, making everything feel warm… almost unreal.
And right outside—
Edrin was waiting.
Leaning casually against a pillar, spear resting beside him.
The moment he saw them, he straightened.
"Ah, you're back," he said. "So… registration done?"
Aamir nodded. "Yeah. We're officially allowed to exist here now."
Edrin chuckled softly. "Good. That makes things easier."
He adjusted his cloak.
"Then come with me," he added. "You'll stay at my place for now."
Aamir raised a hand slightly.
"That's not necessary," he said. "We can find an inn."
Edrin immediately shook his head.
