He trailed off as his gaze sharpened, studying the creature for a few more seconds before making his move without hesitation.
Damon attacked immediately.
His strike was fast and decisive, carrying enough force to obliterate most opponents at this level. The attack went straight through and struck the massive, jelly-like body without any resistance, exactly as he had expected.
But the result was not what it should have been.
