"Wake up, Hubby." I was gently shaken awake from a deep sleep. It was a rare occasion for us to spend the night outside, and I had slept remarkably well. Glancing at the sunlight outside the window, which was just as bright and beautiful as the sun in Eden, I stood up feeling completely refreshed. My three wives swiftly helped me dress and handed me a towel. Once fully clothed, I joined everyone in the dining hall.
"Morning. Did you sleep well last night?" Badi was already waiting for us at the dining table.
"Good morning, Uncle! I slept wonderfully last night. Thank you for your hospitality," I greeted him, bursting with energy.
"Haha, there's no need for formal pleasantries. Have a seat and eat; we need to set off shortly," he gestured to us. After paying our respects, we sat down to enjoy breakfast. Once we finished the delicious meal, everyone geared up to leave. The massive carriage convoy set off toward the Holy Capital of Tielaisheng. This time, we followed local customs and didn't use teleportation. The little girls, of course, couldn't sit still, but luckily the four of us each watched over two of them, keeping the situation perfectly under control.
After a two-hour journey, we finally reached the city gates of the Capital. From a distance, we could see festive silk cloths hanging high on the city towers, making the wedding atmosphere feel even more intense. Following a brief check-in procedure, the convoy slowly entered the city. We began to spot the convoys of neighboring countries entering as well; it seemed surrounding nations had been invited to this wedding.
"The dress you're wearing today is beautiful," I remarked to Suōshā, who was riding in the same carriage as me.
"Thank you, Hubby~ Since we're attending a wedding, I dressed up a little bit," she replied bashfully.
"She's blushing~ She's blushing~" Ximei and Dimei teased.
"Alright, stop making her self-conscious. Quiet down and look at the scenery outside," I steered the conversation away. As the convoy advanced, we finally arrived at the Tielaisheng Royal Palace.
"Welcome, Badi, to our modest city! I have prepared a welcoming banquet for everyone!" King Chautard and Queen Brigitte stood at the main palace gates welcoming the guests, with Kaia accompanying them in a white military dress uniform.
"Hello everyone, we're back~" My wives and I stepped out of the carriage one after another.
"It's you guys?! You're finally back~ We've missed you to death these past few years!" Seeing us, Kaia stepped forward excitedly to shake hands.
"Sorry about that. We could only return now due to some matters, but we managed to make it in time for your wedding," I replied with a smile.
"Friend Bai, welcome~ Today is truly a glorious day. Please rest in the inner pavilion first~" King Chautard exchanged pleasantries with us. After our chat, we were led inside by the palace maids.
"The palace is incredibly lively inside and out today~" Enis said, looking around.
"Indeed. This is our first time attending a wedding. We definitely chose the right time-space~" Suōshā added with a laugh.
"It's Bai and Enis!" Sissi and the others inside the venue spotted us.
"Long time no see, everyone," we walked over to greet them.
"We haven't seen you in years, where did you go?" Qiuduo asked us with a smile.
"Sigh, a new enemy appeared in another universe outside this planet. We went to fight a battle and finally returned victorious. Our return just happened to coincide with Kaia and Emily's wedding."
"I see. We feel quite guilty for not being able to help. Although we've all been traveling and training these past few years, we haven't made much progress," Qiuduo sighed in response. "Are these ladies your new friends?" Sissi asked, looking curiously at Zi Mi and the others.
"Pleasure to meet you, this concubine is my husband's wife, Zi Mi. Please take care of me~"
"What?! You really are a hopeless playboy~" Sissi was utterly shocked.
"Sorry, it wasn't my intention, but I just had to accept it..." I had long since grown accustomed to apologizing to people upon first meeting.
"Then who are these young girls?" Qiuduo asked me.
"Oh, they are Demon Gods created by me. They're a bit mischievous, so don't mind them. Hurry up and greet Brother Qiuduo and Sister Sissi!"
"Good morning, Brother Qiuduo~" "Sister Sissi is so pretty~"
The little girls greeted them playfully.
"What adorable children~" After being called pretty by the little girls, Sissi's mood brightened up significantly. "Big Sister will take you over there to eat some delicious food." Sissi led the little girls toward the main wedding hall, and my three wives followed along. I stayed behind to continue chatting with Qiuduo.
