Chapter 245 - Visiting the Gold God

In this remote and gloomy area of the Boundless Universe, a colossal black hole was slowly devouring everything around it. Yet, deep within the black hole, a mysterious figure remained stationary. "We're here, everyone. Father's aura is even stronger now—he must definitely be inside this black hole," we arrived at the outer edges of the black hole. Although there was an immensely powerful gravitational pull, it didn't affect us in the slightest.

"Let's go inside and see if your father is doing well," I called out to everyone to head in. Over a dozen streaks of light instantly shot into the massive black hole, disappearing into the endless dark abyss. "It gives me a nostalgic feeling, like back when I stayed in the Void Black Hole," I remarked, surrounded by the endless darkness. "Back then, it was also Suōshā who broke in to keep me company, otherwise I would have died of boredom." I lovingly stroked her soft hair. "Our relationship was solidified back then too. Looking back, it truly was a wonderful time~" Suōshā reminisced with delight. "Look over there, there's a golden point of light!" Zi Mi noticed the abnormality to the right. "That must be Father's coordinates, let's head over." Under Suōshā's lead, everyone flew toward the light.

Upon reaching our destination, we indeed saw Suōshā's father, the Gold God, standing tall in space with his eyes closed, seemingly deep in thought. "Father~!" Suōshā greeted him joyfully as she flew over.

"Suōshā?! You all have finally come out of seclusion?" The Gold God looked at us in astonishment.

"Greetings, Gold God. We have awakened from our centuries-long slumber and thought of visiting you today since Suōshā hasn't seen you in a long time, so the whole family came along," I stepped forward, bowing in respect.

"It is wonderful that you're awake~ This old god has been in secluded cultivation here for over a hundred years without stepping outside, so I ended up neglecting you all~" The Gold God replied amiably.

"No worries at all. Rather, we hope we aren't disturbing your peaceful cultivation today."

"Not at all, it's livelier with more people. Right here happens to be one of the locations where the Sword God and I had our final decisive battle back then. That we can still be resurrected today and witness the new era is all thanks to you, Bai~" Saying this, the Gold God grasped my hand with deep gratitude.

"These minor matters aren't worth mentioning. Being able to witness the glory of the older generation with my own eyes is my honor," I thanked him with a smile. It wasn't convenient for us to have a long chat inside this gloomy black hole, so we selected a nearby planet with a decent environment to land and catch up, even creating a few pavilions, tables, and chairs to rest comfortably.

"I see! You are truly an unparalleled prodigy of the later generations—even the Primeval God, the ancestor of all gods, pales in comparison to you now~ Perhaps this old god should refer to you as the Supreme God~"

"You flatter me far too much, I could never carry such a title..."

"Father, stop teasing him," Suōshā chimed in from the side to smooth things over.

"Haha, young man, there's no need to be so low-key. You must have the boldness that matches your strength!" The Gold God stroked his beard and laughed.

As we continued catching up on this desolate planet, the little girls grew far too bored, so Zi Mi and Enis took them outside for a stroll. In the blink of an eye, they had flown millions of light-years away. Of course, during gaps in our conversation, I still kept an eye on their movements so that I could arrive instantly if they ran into any trouble.

On the distant Planet Puyilai, the planet was riddled with gaping wounds due to the assault from a higher-dimensional civilization. The surviving humans hid inside underground military facilities to put up a desperate resistance. On another front, the shot-down aircraft crash-landed onto a nearby river surface. "Ugh... Is everyone alright?" Jiedi moved his injured body and asked the back seat.

"We're fine..." Enya unbuckled her seatbelt with great effort.

"Let's get out of here quick, the aircraft could explode at any moment," Batian urged everyone.

Everyone struggled to escape the aircraft. At this moment, in the twilight sky, enemy flight vehicles flew past from time to time, while on the ground, a small number of alien lifeforms were searching for humans. Jiedi picked up an energy rifle and covered everyone as they retreated through the ruins. Unfortunately, they were spotted by one of the alien lifeforms, which quickly summoned its comrades to surround them. "Run!" Jiedi fired his weapon while urging his companions. The group retreated to a wall corner, only to realize there was no way out.

"Damn it, is this the end...?" Jiedi prepared to make a final stand to buy time for his companions to escape. Right at this moment!

The massive enemy mothership outside Planet Puyilai's atmosphere suddenly detonated violently, decomposed, and completely vanished! The alien forces scattered across the planet scrambled frantically toward outer space, while the alien lifeforms surrounding Jiedi and his team didn't even have time to react before turning around to flee. Unfortunately, before they could retreat very far, they burned to ash as points of light right before everyone's eyes.

Seeing this scene left everyone utterly terrified. "What on earth just happened? Why did the enemies all self-destruct...?" Batian froze for a long time before finally uttering a word.

"I don't know either, but looking at the situation, we're saved," Jiedi snapped back to his senses and quickly led everyone away to escape.

This powerful higher-dimensional group of beings had been completely wiped out in an instant, and Planet Puyilai had finally escaped from this crisis of annihilation.
