Chapter 393 - Chapter 393: The Fall of the Demon

Chapter 393: The Fall of the Demon

Standing atop the fearsome Demonic Statue of the Outer Path, Madara did not seem entirely pleased with his summoning, muttering in irritation.

"Two worthless fools... I've been dead for years, and neither of them managed to capture a single Tailed Beast. But no matter, with just the Demonic Statue, I can still achieve victory."

With a mighty leap, Madara landed on top of the statue and pressed his hands together in a focused seal. Moments later, the Demonic Statue let out an ear splitting roar and broke the chains binding its arms, unleashing its true, fearsome power. As it stomped, the earth cracked and withered beneath it, and the sky above, perpetually darkened by rain, began to clear.

Ye Wen murmured to himself, watching the ominous display. "The primal energy of this world, its very life force this is the source of the Otsutsuki's strength. The Ten Tails… if left unchecked, it will drain this world dry. I can't let you continue, Madara."

Ye Wen knew he had to act, and not just for himself. This planet, rich in spiritual energy, was a strategic bridgehead for Douluo's Divine Realm, and he couldn't afford to lose it.

Madara, standing tall with the Demonic Statue towering beneath him, smirked as he watched "Kakashi" charge forward. A flicker of disdain passed over his face. "It's too late for you to do anything now. Kill him!"

The Demonic Statue's monstrous jaws opened, gathering energy that glowed an eerie purple. A chakra dragon surged forth, aimed straight at Ye Wen. Ye Wen recognized the attack instantly. So, he's combined the powers of the Human and Preta Paths, adding a deadly spiritual element.

Ye Wen understood that Madara had summoned this attack specifically to counter "Kakashi's" abilities. If he were truly Kakashi, using a technique like Kamui for defense, this would be lethal. A clever strategy, Ye Wen admitted, but your experience is narrow, Madara.

Without hesitation, Ye Wen raised his right arm, summoning a radiant white circle. "Spatial Resonance!"

The air around them cracked and trembled. The chakra dragon clashed with a powerful shockwave emitted from the circle, locking both forces in a temporary stalemate. Madara watched, his face contorted in frustration as he sensed that this opponent was far stronger than he'd assumed.

But Ye Wen had only begun to fight. With a casual wave of his left hand, another radiant energy blast rippled out, joining the first. The doubled force shattered the dragon entirely, dispersing it into the atmosphere. The sheer shockwave from the clash sent powerful gusts across the battlefield, uprooting trees and tearing the ground asunder. Even Madara had to steady himself by channeling chakra through his feet.

Who is this man? Madara thought, narrowing his eyes as he studied Ye Wen. His senses told him that this wasn't an ordinary shinobi technique; no chakra based art could rival this sheer magnitude.

As Ye Wen closed in on him, Madara grinned, a glint of anticipation in his gaze. "Only a warrior of this caliber is worthy of facing me. Come! Show me your strength!" With newfound determination, he activated his Susanoo, and its blue form fused seamlessly with the Demonic Statue.

"What is this?" Ye Wen observed with interest as Madara's Susanoo encased the Demonic Statue, merging with its structure. The colossus bore down on him with an arsenal of weapons, each brimming with energy, each strike carrying the essence of the Human and Preta Paths. A clever layer of complexity, Ye Wen mused, but an opponent who resorts to trickery is already at a disadvantage.

He gave a wry smile, fully aware of Madara's plan. Even with this realization, he surged forward, not intending to evade.

Madara watched in smug satisfaction as the Susanoo covered fist barreled toward his foe. Let's see you survive this. But Ye Wen met the blow head on, shattering the armor with a single, perfectly timed punch. Cracks spidered across the colossus' armor, and Madara, stunned, realized that his most powerful form had been overwhelmed.

For a moment, Madara felt a sliver of doubt, but he quickly dismissed it, his pride rekindling his fighting spirit. I am Madara Uchiha, he thought. No one can surpass me.

Then, in a swift, fluid motion, Ye Wen was upon him. Even with his Sharingan's heightened perception, Madara found himself struggling to keep pace. A warrior with millennia of training… Madara felt his confidence waver.

Without breaking stride, Ye Wen delivered a second punch, this one cracking Madara's ultimate armor, followed by a third that sent the entire structure reeling. And then, with a swift, final blow, Ye Wen shattered Madara's Susanoo entirely.

Madara's face betrayed his shock as he gazed up at his shattered defense, his pride yielding to a grudging awe.

The Demonic Statue fell silent, its energy depleted. Madara, bruised and battered, sank to his knees. Ye Wen stood over him, watching in quiet contemplation.

"You have potential, Madara. Misguided, but immense," Ye Wen said, his tone almost compassionate. "If only you had seen beyond yourself, beyond this world…"

In his fading consciousness, Madara's mind raced, his pride refusing to accept defeat even as his body succumbed. If only… His thoughts trailed off as he collapsed to the ground.
