In the end, she didn't see the road ahead clearly and tripped to the ground. Lin Beichen saw this and hurried forward to help her up.
"Please don't hurt me!" the little girl pleaded.
"Do I look that scary? Do I make you think I'd do something to you?" Lin Beichen asked.
"No, my mom told me that sometimes the nicer they look, the more beast-hearted they might be, they might do bad things," the little girl explained.
Hearing her words, Lin Beichen thought there was some truth to them but believed it couldn't be generalized. He comforted the little girl, "Don't worry, I won't hurt you."
From her appearance, Lin Beichen judged that she had come to escape hardships.
Fortunately, he still had some undistributed food and clothes in his car, enough to solve her hunger problem.
"Wow, you're so nice!" The little girl couldn't help but give Lin Beichen a thumbs-up after eating and warming up.
