"City Lord? Is... is this real?"
Someone's voice trembled as they asked, their tone a mixture of shock and joy.
If it weren't for the numerous Fierce Beasts that appeared at the beginning of the attack, catching them off guard, the situation wouldn't have deteriorated to this point.
"Yes."
The City Lord of Yu Feng City nodded, his gaze sweeping the city. "You can feel it too, right? The commotion in the city has lessened significantly, hasn't it?"
The people behind him nodded.
Despite the earth-shattering sounds of artillery around them, their senses were far beyond those of ordinary people, making them aware of the difference from before.
"So, did that person really make it happen?" someone asked.
There was a brief silence before the discussions picked up in a wave.
"I think it must be him. From their description earlier, it has to be him."
"But could one person really kill thousands of Fierce Beasts?"
