Suddenly Ben felt an effect. As soon as Ben's punches connected with the opponent's palms, Ben felt as if though all the force dissipated. It was true for all the punches that connected. & when he stopped the attacks, He could see that his opponent had his palms turned red.
Ben & his opponent were equally flustered. Frans was stunned because he was not expecting such power from a martial knight other than the elites or wealthy scions.

After the initial shock Ben remembered something. "An energy based meridian seed, am I right," Ben asked Frans. He did not answer. But one could see that he was seething. Ben did not stall on something. He was going to try the most straightforward approach.
Ben unleashed his claws, glowing blue, along with the tail. Everyone present had a slight smile seeing this. They would be laughing right now if teachers were not present. But those smiles vanished once they saw what happened next.
A sonic boom was heard & all they could see was blue light streaking around Frans. There were also some sparks flying here & there. Frans had covered himself in aura, which was wavering like crazy due to the continuous strike of Ben. Not only that it was getting thinner & thinner.
Frans decided that he could not wait anymore. So he released an omni directional shock wave, except to upward & downward, because he thought Ben did not have any aerial capabilities.
The shock waves ploughed through the ground, thoroughly tilling it & sending the grass & soil along its way flying to the air. Little did he know that threat was looming above him. Suddenly everyone heard a loud howl
. It took care of all the dust & made the field clear. Much to the surprise of everyone except Mahaansh, Saarsh, Jim, Rais, Roshin, a majestic aether lupis was in the air. Frans was horrified. He had seen that beast on the screen & knew some information about it. But he did not understand why it appeared above him. Suddenly the airborne beast fell towards him at high speed.
Terrified he made shield with his aura above him. But the impact shattered it in a fraction of a second, followed by crushing Frans on the ground creating a large crater. But Frans was still in the game. He was not unconscious and neither had he ran out of aura.
Then his body began to glow. At first it was a grey fog. Then it was like a vibration. The aura was vibrating across his body, acting as a shield. Ben raised an eye brow. He had seen the same skill in the hands of the terrorist.
Ben then inferred that this might be a common skill which is available in any skill repository. May be that was the reason why the terrorist used it.
But for Frans this skill was extremely important and really compatible with his meridian power. It looked like the skill was made for him.
Ben had dispelled his aether lupis form and was in the aether leap form with just the claws and the tail. Now no one dared to underestimate this form. Everyone knew it s speed. He then moved again. His stamina was much higher than average knights, due the harmony of his breathing technique.
This gave him considerable advantage in a battle of endurance.
Ben continued to strike at the person relentlessly. A fraction of the attacks were actually affecting the person. The rest of the impacts were being absorbed by the aura of Frans. But it was also chipping away at the aura. This continued for a few minutes. The battle seemed to be entering a monotonous stage.
But that was not the case. Actually Ben was chipping away the stamina of the person. Frans' aura was decreasing every second.
