Cultivation Realms

1. Tempered Body Boundary After reaching the 4th Stage of the Tempered Body Boundary, a cultivator begins to sense World Energy in the atmosphere. By the 7th Stage, they naturally gather and absorb this World Energy, tempering their body and preparing it to store Yuan Qi.

2. Initial Element Stage At this stage, cultivators have accumulated enough Yuan Qi to begin fueling their martial techniques. Though Yuan Qi can be used to strengthen the body and affect the immediate environment, it cannot yet be projected outward.

3. Qi Transformation Stage Cultivators can finally release Yuan Qi outside their bodies to attack and defend. This is also the first realm where a cultivator experiences a World Baptism, profoundly tempering their body for the next stage of cultivation.

4. Separation and Reunion Boundary This realm brings a massive upgrade to the strength, storage, and application of Yuan Qi. Due to their rapidly expanding Yuan Qi reserves, cultivators often struggle to balance their state of mind, making them more prone to aggression and fighting (with the exception of those possessing exceptionally strong willpower, such as Yang Kai or Su Yan). Upon reaching the peak of this boundary, cultivators face a crossroads. If they succumb to the thrill of seeking power, they lose control of their raging emotions and desires, entering the "Devil's Path" and becoming brutal, bloodthirsty, and violent.

5. True Element Boundary To reach this realm, a cultivator must purify their Yuan Qi into the significantly more powerful True Qi, which is capable of executing far more complex tasks. Mastering True Qi also grants cultivators the ability to fly.

6. Immortal Ascension Boundary At this realm, a cultivator develops a Knowledge Sea and a Divine Sense. The Knowledge Sea serves as a mental space to store memories, knowledge, techniques, and Divine Soul Artifacts. Meanwhile, a Divine Sense allows the cultivator to scan and perceive everything within a certain radius, scaling with their soul's power.

7. Transcendent Realm Reaching this realm requires a sufficient comprehension of the Heavenly Way. A Transcendent cultivator's lifespan greatly exceeds mortal limits, allowing them to live for hundreds of years.

8. Saint Realm Just as one must purify Yuan Qi to enter the True Element Boundary, a 3rd-Order Transcendent must purify their True Qi into Saint Qi to reach the Saint Realm. By the 3rd Order of the Saint Realm, a cultivator's physical body becomes strong enough to withstand the harsh, unprotected environment of the Starry Sky. Saints have remarkably long lifespans; for instance, Li Rui (the Old Man of Heaven's Keep) lived for over a thousand years at this stage.

9. Saint King Realm Breaking through to this realm requires a highly stable foundation, a vast accumulation of Saint Qi, and a deep comprehension of the Heavenly Way.

10. Origin Returning Realm With dedicated training, cultivators at this stage can merge their Will, Saint Qi, and Divine Soul Strength into Shi (Potential), an aura that suppresses most cultivators below this realm. Once their Divine Sense grows strong enough, they can master Yuan Control, drastically increasing their combat efficacy.

11. Origin King Realm When a cultivator's mastery of Shi reaches the Grand Accomplishment level, it evolves into a Domain, making them exponentially more powerful than those in the Origin Returning Realm. If an Origin King is fortunate enough to refine a Star Source and become a Star Master, they gain an early ability to sense and draw support from World Principles—the fundamental laws of the Heavenly Way.

12. Dao Source Realm (Also known as Principle Source Stage) To break through, a cultivator must develop their Domain to the Grand Accomplishment level and completely convert their Saint Qi into the far more potent Source Qi. This conversion requires access to a world with sufficient World Principles (though it can also be cultivated in the Ancestor Territory). Starting at this realm, cultivators can draw support from one or more World Principles (such as the Space Principle). From here onward, a cultivator's combat prowess is heavily dictated by their comprehension and manipulation of these Principles.

13. Emperor Realm A profound and difficult realm to reach, requiring a cultivator to directly control at least one Principle. Their Source Qi must also be fully converted into Emperor Yuan to wield the true power of an Emperor Senior.

Special Classifications within and beyond the Emperor Realm:

Pseudo Great Emperor: A cultivator who has surpassed the 3rd-Order Emperor Realm but has not yet condensed a Dao Seal. They are significantly more powerful than standard 3rd-Order Emperors.

Great Emperor: In Universe Worlds, a Pseudo Great Emperor may be acknowledged by the Heavenly Way if a "seat" is available. This allows them to sense their Main Dao, condense a Dao Seal, and harness World Mighty Force, granting them power comparable to a Low-Rank Open Heaven Master. However, this power is restricted to the geographical range of their Universe World.

Dao Seal: An Emperor who successfully condenses a Dao Seal (usually in the Outer Universe) is significantly stronger than a Pseudo Great Emperor and possesses the foundation required to promote to the Open Heaven Stage.

Half-Step Open Heaven Realm: To reach the Open Heaven Stage, an Emperor with a Dao Seal must refine the Yin, Yang, and Five Elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Gold, Water). Those who have condensed five of these seven resources reach the Half-Step Open Heaven Realm. The mutual promotion and cycling of these five elements generate an embryonic form of World Mighty Force, making them far stronger than a typical Emperor with just a Dao Seal.

14. Open Heaven Realm After refining all seven Yin-Yang and Five Element resources into their Dao Seal, a cultivator must successfully form a Small Universe within their body to officially enter the Open Heaven Stage. At the High-Rank Open Heaven Stage (7th–9th Rank), this internal space evolves into a true Universe World. Open Heaven cultivators draw their strength directly from the World Mighty Force of their internal Small Universe, completely bypassing the territorial limitations of a Great Emperor. Barring miraculous methods, an Open Heaven cultivator's maximum lifetime growth is limited to exactly two ranks above their initial starting rank (e.g., a cultivator who starts at the 3rd Rank can only ever reach the 5th Rank).
