While I was pondering the implications of this news, I was pulled out of my thoughts by a distinct humming noise, similar to the kind that a propellor aircraft makes while in flight. I turned around, seeing a small dot on the horizon where to noise seemed to be coming from. As I watched it grow closer, I started to be able to make out the shape of a blimp.
Now, logically, blimps don't have windows on the balloon part, nor do they also have a cargo door, of which a smaller aircraft seemed to be departing from.
Most of the departing aircraft seemed to head out towards the horizon, however one of the larger ones was heading directly for me! The incoming aircraft also seemed a bit more of a civilian style, with most technical components hidden, while the other aircraft had more parts visible.
Internally, I was panicking, yet outwardly, I only frowned. No use thinking about it. If they want to land on the island, not much I can do to stop that.
Soon, the aircraft landed. One of the side panels separated and slid aside, followed by a staircase unfolding. A few people stepped down, then called me over.
Inside the ship, there was a small but well kept lounge area, with the group sat around a small coffee table. There was an extra cup of tea, with each member having their own ad well.
"Come, join us." The man sitting in the middle invited. He had a suit on, looking a lot like a standard rich business man from earth.
I quickly took a seat, listening while sipping on the refreshments. "This is good! Where did you guys get this?" I asked.
"It was brewed from sky mint leaves, grown locally." The woman sitting on the left said. "Anyways, you must be confused as to who we are, correct?"
"Indeed." I confirmed.
" We are members of the sun-gold alliance. I noticed your island, which isn't on our maps, so we came to check it out."
