Rukia's face lit up with excitement. "I received orders to be permanently stationed in Karakura Town in the Human World, assisting Senior Zennosuke. I came to tell Renji. Captain Uchiha, you're mostly stationed in Karakura Town, aren't you? I'll need your guidance."
Since receiving his permanent assignment to the Human World, Yusuke had spent most of his time there, only occasionally returning to the Seireitei for official duties or to make arrangements within the Fifth Division. He maintained a strong presence in both worlds.
Yusuke smiled. "Rukia's going to Karakura Town too? I look forward to your performance. Go find Renji; I won't keep you young people any longer."
Rukia nodded and ran towards the Third Division barracks, clearly viewing this mission as a welcome change of pace. She was eager for the adventure.
Watching Rukia's departing figure, Yusuke said softly, "Our time here may not be long."
Hearing Yusuke's words, Yū felt a profound sense of loss, though her expression remained unchanged. She simply replied with a quiet, "Mm."
Although she was prepared for this eventuality, having spent so long in the Seireitei, she had grown accustomed to the life of a Shinigami and considered many of the Gotei 13's members to be her friends. She valued those relationships.
Now, she only hoped that Yusuke wouldn't clash with the Gotei 13. She didn't want to turn her blade against former friends. She hoped for peace.
