"It is the green eyes..." said Julian. Yes, the gift that we are giving is green eyes.
The same green coloured unknown stone that no one has identified until now. I didn't expect it to be here since the stone itself is called a mystery stone which can make some one rich as well as poor. It is practically a cursed stone and just a decade ago. Government loose the recording of the location of the stone. That's why no one from then to now knows where it had gone. It is not only the green eyes. It was a necklace. The green eyes was attached to the golden strings. I was thinking that the whole green eyes was in with some mafia who practically loves jewellery or some thing. But it was here in the Caldwell family? "Father-in-law, was it here from the start when it's location disappeared?" Mr. Caldwell just sighed and said "Well... No. We got it as gift from a friend four years ago..." A friend huh? well, I guess we can't really trust the pair at that. Like they are the higher ups and they can practically do what ever they want plus, I just had a gut feeling that either this is going to be something bad or it is going to be some thing good.
"Listen" Mr. Caldwell said. "This is the first gift that we have to give to the host and then we also have to give another gift." He pulled out another box. This one was bigger than the other. It had two matching necklace inside which was normal but there was also this third one. I and Julian looked ta each other. The only thing that came to our mind was rather 'This is not only to be good'. Mr. Caldwell continued "Since, we all know that Ms. Riva is getting married to Ms. Evans. So, for the courtesy we must give them a gift. And there will also be people who will also give you guys gifts. It can even be the host. You can accept them." After Mr. Caldwell finished talking. I knew something was up. The moment Mr. Caldwell entered the room he... seemed restless rather. I have not been with him in person for long time but I have worked with him quite a few times. And he was also this eerie calm that we is not now.
After the meeting, when I was walking with Ethan to our room for the Banquet I asked "Was your father always this restless?" Ethan sighed and said "Well, I don't know what is happening to him. It must be that another underground figure that either came back or emerged. But The third necklace... It is no coincidence." "I agree." After that we put on our banquet outfit and did normal preparation. After all of it. Ethan and I sat at the car with the two boxes inside another fancy boxes.
"Do you think it is for a child?"
I said out of no where. I couldn't stop thinking about the third necklace and it seemed like a family necklace to me. Ethan turned towards me. He was amused by the idea "You think it is a family necklace pack?" "Yes, I do." I said. Ethan smiled and said "Now thinking about it. It could be true that it is a family necklace pack. But don't you think it is strange that they can have a child with in two day at the max. We just saw them yesterday." Well, Ethan had a logic. At least if she is pregnant there will be some signs. "But what about adoption. You know the information travels faster then you can think and specially among the mafia and companies the information is basically like wind one moment here and the other it is over there." Ethan nodded silently and sighed "Well, we will see."
After that we sat there is the car for another half and hour but during that time when the car was still moving I got a strange feeling. It was like I wanted to vomit but I couldn't. I grabbed Ethan's hands at that time. Ethan saw my face and understood what was going on. He carefully moved towards me and started hugging me. After that the whole ride we were basically holding hands or hugging. After we arrived at the venue. A butler came and asked for the invitation. The driver gave the invitation and drive inside. The parking was no less packed with other cars. We got out with the two boxes which was carried my two servants.
After the parking lot there was a garden in which you have to go through before going to the main entrance. The garden was none the less was packed with children. Well, lets say the garden was rather like child care for the children. The children usually join the banquets after the subject of the banquet is usually done as the banquets are a political battlefield for business companies and mafia. And sometimes even people or servants became violet and things became highly unsafe for a normal child. But don't get me wrong now days children have even more complicated political measuring value and other stuff then us adults. They even run there own business which is also unground. By underground I mean the real underground. I bet 90% of the parents doesn't even know that the sweet innocent children that they talk to are even more of the mafias then them. To be fair they are the real deal around here. Because in these children circle the information is way more then any one could except. The family secrets, affairs all out there in children's mouth just saying to make other's laugh. I really don't know at this point if the next generation are going to create a new system or a system that is basically tell or be killed.
Ethan also looked at the children there and said "You must be thinking. How these innocent kids can the most dangerous ones, am I right?" I sighed and said "Well, you got me there."
