At that moment, the door to his room opened slightly. The head of a young girl poked in as she stared around. Her eyes shone with curiosity as she took in the disheveled appearance of the room. The sight of crumpled paper thrown messily around the room caught her attention, making her stare in wonder.
"Big brother, are you busy?" Olivia asked curiously. Normally, she wouldn't have disturbed Adrian since she knew that whatever he was doing required serious concentration. However, since he had closed himself off for quite a while now, her curiosity got the better of her, and she couldn't help but check on him.
Seeing Olivia, a slight smile formed on Adrian's face as he beckoned her inside.
"No, I'm free right now." Seeing Adrian's positive response, Olivia happily trotted inside, being careful not to step on the pieces of paper that littered the ground. "What are you doing?" She asked innocently when she got beside him.
