Inside the Mercedes Benz that was driving at an average speed, Hannah felt something was off with Logan. She didn't do the wrong thing from stopping him from kissing her.
Her cheeks flushed deep red when she realized he had kissed her three times. If this goes on, she doubt she will obey his fifth rule. She was afraid of his punishment and torture he will inflict on her if she breaks them.
While she was lost in thoughts about the kiss, her face redden brighter than before not knowing a certain someone was looking at her.
Logan who had equally been pissed at her for stopping him to kiss her notice that she didn't speak to him or ask why he was quiet was slightly taken back by her reddened face. Even her neck was red. What was she thinking that could make her face red? He couldn't help but teased,
"My kisses are so good you can't stop imagining how my lips will feel down there".
Hannah cheeks flushed hard, she was blushing profusely as she felt her heart raced rapidly in her chest.
"Damn, what was this man saying? Why did he say such words?"
"No ". She denied even though she was blushing hard.
Logan corked his eyebrows at her.
"Penny for your thoughts then?"
"Uhm, it's at the old graveyard ". She said wait a straight face, she had been blushing hard that her cheeks already hurt.
"I know the old graveyard. But why are your parents buried there?" Logan asked trying to calm her flustered self.
Hannah who was all flushed suddenly became silent at his words.
Her heart skip a beat at his words. She didn't know what to respond to his words and just kept mute.
Each time people ask her why she goes to the old graveyard, she doesn't know how to reply to their curious question about her parents burial grave.
Logan noticed her silence and slowly took her hand and held it, entangling together with his his. Her heart which had stopped beating faster began to race uncontrollably.
She felt his warm hand spreading heat through hers as he stared intently at her with his piercing gaze.
"Don't worry, I will always be by your side. Will you?"
Her heart skip multiple beats upon hearing his word. Why was he telling her this? Has he already forgotten about the marriage contract rules he made for her?
She took in a deep breath to calm her racing heart before finally saying what was in her mind.
"You know I can't fall in love with you". She said in a small voice.
Logan didn't say anything for a while before patting her head softly.
"I didn't say you should fall in love with me. And when have you ever obeyed any of my rules?" He smirked mischievously staring into her sky blue eyes.
"I'm scared , I don't want you to torture me both physically and emotionally". She voiced out her fears. She was deeply scared of what will happen if she falls in love him. Even if she denies it, she was beginning to have mixed feelings for him which is very bad. She would have to kill those feelings.
Logan didn't say anything and just held her hand as he continued driving on the road.
They drived for another hour before arriving at a deserted area that was covered in only plain sands.
He drove gently towards the the huge black gate that was been guarded by two security guards.
The moment they arrived,
Logan parked the car and got down from the car and went round to open the passenger door for her to step out. On stepping out, Hannah's heart felt her squeezed In pain as she stared at the black gate. Ever since she lost her parents, she hadn't been herself even if her aunt and uncle took her in as their second daughter. Her heart felt heavy and incomplete.
Tears glimmered in her eyes not realizing the strong arms that suddenly wrapped around her waist pulling her back to reality.
Logan wrapped his hands firmly and protectively around her, holding her in his warm embrace.
Her heart beat increased into a wild motion.
His hot breath sent jolt down her body as he whispered softly in her ear.
"I will always be by your side no matter what,you are my wife whether contracted or not".
Hannah swallowed hard blinking her eyes to avoid the tears from rolling down her cheeks.
She didn't comment on his words and just leaned in on his arms. They remained in that intimate position for a while before Logan spoke,
"Let's go before it gets dark. I don't of the wife I am married to is scared of ghosts". He said in a teasing tone that made Hannah cheeks flushed red.
She tilted her head to stare into his deep black eyes that was gazing at her too.
"Am I that handsome that you can't stop staring at me wife?"
Her heart skip a beat at his words making her feel slightly embarrassed. Her cheeks burned from the faint blush on her cheeks before saying,
"You are holding me possessively".
Logan smirked mischievously before leaning his head forward and planting a quick, soft kiss on her lips, surprising her.
He let go of her watching her flushed reddened face before stretching his hand forward for her to hold.
Hannah, whose face was burning red ik embarrassment and at the soft kiss felt her heart melt In an unexplained manner she couldn't fathom.
She placed her hand on his as he clapsed their hands together before walking towards the black gate that was being guarded by the two security guards.
They walked hand in hand together as they stopped in front of the security guards.
The two security guards who had seen the couple's arrival quickly bowed their heads in deep respect upon realizing who they were.
"Welcome Young Mr Emerson and Young Mrs Emerson".
