--- Chapter 467 ---

"That should do it..."

"I don't know how Alpha is going to handle the flapping of the butterfly wings on his side, but I hope things don't change too much."

Having successfully left behind several contingencies across the Douluo Star, Han Yuan spent the next half-day teleporting across the globe.

He also checked several hidden planes on the globe, such as the Dragon Valley and the Sun Moon Continent, as well as other locations deeply tied to divinity, but he refrained from touching them directly.

After all, Han Yuan had no desire to trigger hidden mechanisms and find himself trapped in some cliché trial.

It was better to leave those headaches for Alpha and Gamma to handle down the line.

A few hours later, Han Yuan eventually arrived back on the main Douluo Continent. Instead of rushing straight back to Glory City, he decided to take a brief stroll.

"As expected... this era is just as chaotic as Alpha told," He muttered to himself.

Left and right, rogue fallen ones and early Evil Spirit Masters were running rampant, bringing lawless devastation to the local settlements.

Yet, before Han Yuan could even wipe out these lowlifes himself, a divine, sacred brilliance suddenly pierced through the overcast sky.

A beautiful Valkyrie clad in white cascaded from the heavens, her golden greatsword flashing as she instantly and ruthlessly turned the Evil Spirit Masters to ash.

"Die, wicked spirits!" Her cold, righteous voice echoed across the bloody plains.

BOOM!

"..." Han Yuan froze on the spot, his gaze locked onto the blonde woman in the shimmering, gold-accented white armor. She stood amidst the fading smoke, handling the Evil Spirit Masters as if they were mere insects.

He recognized that face immediately. There was no way he could mistake it for anyone else. "Qian... Renxue...?"

The woman sharply turned her head, her brow furrowing as she looked up at Han Yuan. "Qian... Do you know me?"

"No, my mistake." Han Yuan quickly raised his hands, offering a harmless, easygoing smile to show he had no hostility. "I simply thought you looked exactly like someone I know. Well, someone a close friend of mine knew."

The blonde woman narrowed her golden eyes, scrutinizing Han Yuan from head to toe. Sensing nothing foul or malicious about his presence, the tension in her shoulders seeped away.

She gave him an understanding, firm nod. "I see."

"In that case, you should be careful. These times are highly chaotic, and it would be best if you didn't wander blindly through this region, especially near the Forbidden Area to the north."

"Forbidden Area?" Han Yuan tilted his head, playing along.

She nodded. "Mhm. There is a massive spiritual disturbance in the north. The common folk says it is a divine punishment raining down upon sinners."

"But I know that is merely a rumor. In all likelihood, powerhouses are waging war up there."

'Well, that would be me...' Han Yuan was amused by her comment.

She then added, "Therefore, I highly recommend you evacuate toward the east. The Spirit Hall will provide shelter until an era of true peace arrives."

'Spirit Hall, huh? Now that is a name that brings back memories,' Han Yuan thought, suppressing a smirk.

However, her words confirmed his ultimate suspicion. This blonde woman was exactly who he thought she was. She wasn't Qian Renxue.

She was the legendary founder of the Spirit Hall, the true Light of the Douluo Continent, and the first Angel God, Qian Yuhan!

Han Yuan genuinely hadn't expected to run into the Angel God while she was still a mortal woman. Her facial features were identical to her future descendant's beautiful looks. However, she was more mature, aloof, and weathered by combat, which was a natural product of the dark, chaotic era she was currently fighting to pacify.

"I understand. Thank you for the warning," Han Yuan replied softly, his silver eyes observing her with interest. "I will check Spirit Hall later."

"By the time you reach the Spirit Hall, I will show you around." The blonde woman gave a last, respectful nod. She opened three pairs of pure white, angelic wings and took to the sky, cutting through the clouds like a streak of holy, golden lightning.

Yet, when she was already several miles away, Han Yuan's amused voice bypassed all physical distance, echoing directly inside her very mind and shocking her to her very core.

'Miss Angel, beware of the gods in the heavens...'

'They may be divine beings, but they are still creatures ruled by emotion and self-interest. When you finally ascend to that realm one day, do not place your trust in them too easily.'

'Consider this a piece of friendly advice.'

'You can treat it as a passing whisper of the wind and ignore it entirely, but I would strongly recommend you take it to heart.'

'Also, thank you for the invitation, but I am afraid I can't stay for too long... So, this would be our farewell.'

Qian Yuhan stalled mid-flight, spinning around in midair with a bewildered look on her face. A rare tremor of apprehension crept into her heart. The sheer absurdity of someone bypassing her mental defenses to inject a telepathic message from miles away was terrifying.

From the tone and cadence alone, she knew it belonged to that strange young man, making the feat even more mind-boggling.

Slowly, she forced herself to calm down. She hadn't sensed a single shred of malice from him. When she had looked into the youth's silver eyes, she had seen nothing but curiosity.

At first, she assumed Han Yuan just had the typical gaze of an annoying male suitor.

Countless powerful, capable men across the Douluo Plane had sought her hand in marriage, all of whom she had ruthlessly rejected because those personal attachments would hinder her path to godhood.

Besides, the level of those men didn't match her standards.

"Just who... was he?"

Even far into the future, Qian Yuhan would never quite find the answer to that question. Perhaps she wasn't the one destined to unravel it. Perhaps that revelation belonged to her own descendant, or a different timeline altogether.

Meanwhile, Han Yuan took a brief detour past the early foundations of the Spirit Hall. He noted that the spirit city wasn't nearly as grand as the one in Alpha's memories.

Then again, the city had only been founded for a few years.

He spotted a few decent talents among the ranks, but he didn't make any moves to guide them the way he had with Qian Yuhan.

Honestly, she was a special case, not because she was very attractive, but because she was one of the few genuinely 'good' deities to ever emerge from the Douluo Star.

Unlike a certain future Godking who only knew how to shout who 'had a path to death,' the first Angel God actually spent her mortal life bleeding for the people, earning her divine faith through raw, agonizing hard work.

Also, their brief encounter was merely a fluke. It wouldn't alter the grand timeline much, especially considering the running theory that Qian Yuhan eventually reincarnated as Qian Renxue.

Of course, a theory was just a theory. Or was it?

Before leaving the continent entirely, Han Yuan made one final stop at the Sunset Forest. He briefly scanned the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well, noting that the various Immortal Herbs had already been planted, though they were ten thousand years away from maturity.

He harvested a few choice soil and root samples to cultivate back in the Dou Qi Plane, and then flew straight back to Glory City, where Ye Ziyun and the others were waiting.

"Lord Han, you're back!" Ye Ziyun hurried her pace to his side the moment he arrived. Behind her, the remaining surviving residents also approached, their expressions a mix of curiosity and deep reverence.

Han Yuan smiled, pleasantly surprised by Ye Ziyun's eager welcome. "Mm, the rounds didn't take as long as I anticipated. Well, without further ado, let's get everyone moving."

"Um... I forgot to ask earlier, but what is going to happen to my Ice God trials?" Ye Ziyun asked, a hint of worry coloring her thoughts.

Han Yuan raised an eyebrow and immediately sent a mental transmission to Hanlong Nuji, who was currently occupied with teasing Gamma back in the small plane under the Ice God's Palace.

Pulling his consciousness back, he chuckled. "Nuji says you're perfectly fine. The Ice God's position is officially being transferred directly to you, Ziyun."

"This... isn't she being a bit too casual about a divine throne?" Ye Ziyun was completely speechless.

"Rather than casual, it's more accurate to say that the position is no longer of any use to her," Han Yuan explained. "She's simply passing it along to someone who actually needs it."

"The moment your cultivation reaches the required threshold, you will naturally inherit the mantle of the new Ice God."

"Damn, that sounds exactly like her..." Xu Deming joked, stepping into the conversation after overhearing about the Ice God's inheritance. He then seamlessly shifted the topic. "But Brother Yuan, can your plane-crossing arrays actually handle migrating this many people simultaneously?"

Han Yuan grinned confidently. "Leave it to me."

Although the original array network beneath Glory City had been utterly shattered during his initial, forceful entry into the Douluo Plane, Han Yuan had already anchored a set of space-time coordinates and a dimensional tunnel using the void as a stable bridge.

All he needed to do now was tear open the fabric of space and guide the residents directly to the Misty Mountain Range.

"Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get started!" Xu Deming clapped his hands in excitement, eager to witness whatever reality-bending method Han Yuan was about to deploy.

Han Yuan smiled and led the massive crowd deep into the underground chambers of Glory City. He extended his hands, using his vast spiritual energy to carve intricate, ancient spatial runes across the stone floors, effectively sealing the entire chamber into a spatial vacuum.

Xu Deming watched the process with absolute fascination. "I see... You aren't just connecting two fixed points in space. You're twisting the exit of the portal, making it a strict, one-way exit. That prevents the same spatial route from being tracked or used twice."

"Brilliant. Incredibly brilliant. If we had used this method back during the crisis with the Small Demon Grotto Plane..."

"I already took care of that plane on my way back, don't worry," Han Yuan interrupted smoothly.

He had indeed completely steamrolled through the Small Demon Grotto Plane after setting up his global contingencies, conquering the small world entirely.

Unfortunately, he couldn't bring the small plane back with him. According to Alpha's instructions, the ownership of that plane strategically belonged to Gamma.

"Sigh... I guess it's still too late for the old timeline," Xu Deming muttered, a wave of weariness washing over him. "If we could get this sooner."

"Nothing is ever truly too late," Han Yuan replied with a light chuckle. "You can come home too, Deming. But... you need to make a definitive choice right now."

"Are you going to stay behind, or will you follow me to a brand-new plane?"

"I..." Xu Deming wrestled with the choice for a long, heavy moment before his gaze hardened. "I'll follow you."

Han Yuan gave him a deep, enigmatic look. "Congratulations, Deming. You made the right choice... But the person you'll be following isn't 'me'."

"Then who...?" Xu Deming blinked, entirely lost.

"You'll see soon enough. For now, it's time to say our goodbyes." Han Yuan turned, facing Xu Deming and the silent crowd in the chamber. "Everyone, take one last look at Glory City."

"Say your goodbye."

Ye Ziyun and her friends exchanged deeply emotional glances as they stared at the familiar stone walls.

Memories of growing up in this isolated room, the laughter, the grief, the triumphs, and the struggles, flashed through their minds. More than a few residents felt tears welling in their eyes.

But they knew staying meant extinction. To survive, they had to move forward.

"Goodbye... Glory City."

Han Yuan shot Xu Deming with an amused smirk. "See you in the future, Xu Deming. Or rather... I should call you Brother Xu now."

"Hahaha!"

As Han Yuan's clear laughter echoed through the cavern, the glowing ancient arrays flared with blinding brilliance. In the blink of an eye, the space imploded, pulling everyone inside the formation clean out of the Douluo Plane, leaving only Xu Deming standing in the quiet room.

Xu Deming stared at the space where his residents of Glory City had just vanished, shaking his head with a wry smile. "What a riddler."

.

On the other side, the migrating crowd braced themselves for a violent spatial impact, but instead, a piercing, radiant light flooded their blurry vision.

When the spots cleared from their eyes, they found themselves standing atop a majestic, towering peak, overlooking an impossibly vast, endless mountain range.

The air was dense, filled with an entirely different form of raw energy that caused their chests to tighten before a refreshing coolness washed through their meridians.

"T-This is... the other plane?" Ye Ziyun gasped, looking out at the majestic new world, instantly sensing the mystery of the environment.

Han Yuan stepped forward, turning around to face the awestruck crowd with a confident, sweeping gesture.

"Welcome to the Dou Qi Continent, everyone... The place where your, no, where our new glory begins!"
