"It is also your honor to die under my sword-drawing technique." Rin looked at the unwilling expression frozen on the Great Dagger Saqis's face before death then, without hesitation, he ignited the body using his Flame Ability, reducing it to ashes. Rin's use of the draw-slash, a technique not unlike what Zoro used in his high-speed Iai strikes, was already the highest form of respect he could offer especially in acknowledgment of Saqis's final sacrifice to let his captain Bellamy escape.
"Captain, that guy got away." Though the thick smoke had begun to dissipate, Enel (Anilu) returned through the air on a bolt of lightning. Just when he was about to apprehend Bellamy, the spring-powered pirate had leapt off the deck and dived straight into the sea Enel, whose Logia Lightning body was fundamentally incompatible with water, was forced to hover and circle the perimeter above the ocean's surface, scanning for any sign of Bellamy resurfacing. But no matter how long he searched, Bellamy's silhouette never reappeared perhaps he'd clung to some driftwood or escaped via an underwater current so Enel returned empty-handed to report to Rin.
"It's fine let him run. I want Doflamingo to know we're heading to Dressrosa." Rin had actually planned this from the beginning.Bellamy was a known underling of Donquixote Doflamingo, the former Warlord of the Sea and ruler of Dressrosa. Letting Bellamy live was a move designed to send a message, a challenge to the Joker himself.
"Then let's return to the ship." Rin lifted into the air, using his Light-Light Fruit (Pika Pika no Mi) powers, shimmering like a beam of pure radiance as he shot toward his own pirate vessel anchored in the distance.
"Wait a minute, Rin-sama what about this ship?" Enel glanced at the deck of the now-wrecked New Vicky Bellow. The ship was littered with the electrocuted remains of the unconscious crew and the decapitated Ribas. With no survivors and no clear course, Enel was unsure what Rin wanted done with it.
"Destroy it. Don't leave even a single soul behind, it's better for the sea if this ship vanishes. Think of it as pest control." Rin had no intention of letting the ship drift aimlessly with corpses or potential witnesses. The Bellamy Pirates, under their reckless ideology of violence and might-makes-right, had long since lost the right to mercy.
"Yes, Captain." Enel responded calmly, his body beginning to spark with renewed voltage. He floated into the air, once more invoking the might of the Goro Goro no Mi. Dark storm clouds began to swirl above summoned just moments after the smoke had cleared.
"Run!" Rin didn't wait around he knew what Enel was preparing. In a flash of golden photons, he split into rays of light and disappeared, re-materializing back aboard his own ship far from the blast radius of Enel's next attack.
"Thirty million volts Thunderbird!" Enel's voice echoed like a drum of war as he struck the taiko drums embedded in his back dodom! dodom! summoning forth a powerful thunderbird avatar from raw lightning. It coalesced slowly in the air before bursting into motion, shrieking as it dove toward the pirate ship like divine retribution.
Boom! The moment the lightning beast collided with the New Vicky Bellow, the entire ship exploded violently. The hull shattered, the masts split, and flame-licked shrapnel sprayed into the sky. The unconscious pirates on board perished instantly. Enel had used a similar version of this technique back on Fishman Island years ago though constrained at the time by the island's humidity and pressure underwater, limiting the scope and power of his thunder. But now, above the sea and under open sky, Enel was unchained and the result was overwhelming destruction, the kind capable of leveling fleets.
"Geez… Enel's mastery over thunder is growing frighteningly strong." Back aboard his own ship, Rin stood at the railing, watching the annihilation of the New Vicky Bellow. He couldn't help but remark to himself Enel's lightning techniques, already devastating when they first met in Skypiea, had become exponentially more refined, more efficient, and far more lethal. It was clear Enel had been relentlessly honing his Logia powers in the time since and the sea would soon learn the price of underestimating him.
"Rin Pandora! I swear you won't get away this time! I'll report your crimes directly to Lord Doflamingo and I, Bellamy, vow that my crew will have vengeance!" Bellamy, who had narrowly escaped by diving into the sea, had managed to elude Enel's pursuit by swimming through coral caves near a small island. After hiding beneath the surface for several minutes, he climbed ashore just in time to see the smoldering wreckage of his pirate ship explode in the distance. The sight pierced him like a dagger. He had spent years building the Bellamy Pirates, rising from a Doflamingo-aligned underling to a self-declared pirate captain. And now, that entire effort was reduced to ashes by Rin Pandora, a man he viewed as reckless and dangerous. Bellamy clenched his fists, rage rising within him. His heart ached not only for the ship, but for everything the flag had stood for. In that moment, he carved a silent oath deep into his soul Rin Pandora would pay.
"Saqis… don't worry, I'll avenge you with my own hands!" Bellamy gritted his teeth, thinking of his first mate, the Great Dagger Saqis. Bellamy had originally thought Saqis had turned on him in fear but it turned out his crewmate had sacrificed himself, standing alone against Rin to buy Bellamy time to escape. That loyalty now weighed heavily on him. Bellamy had misjudged a man who had remained faithful to the end and that guilt only deepened his hatred toward Rin. All that remained of his crew was a ruin, and Bellamy's fury burned hotter than any fire. If glares could kill, Rin Pandora would have died not once or twice but hundreds of times by now.
Meanwhile, aboard the Pandora Pirates' vessel
"Rin, did you take care of them?" Artoria stepped out of the cabin, drawn by the sound of thunder and the explosive crash from the horizon. As she emerged onto the deck, she spotted Rin standing calmly near the helm.
"All done, it was nothing. They were barely warm-ups for me and Enel." Rin replied with a casual grin, brushing imaginary dust off his coat. It was true. The Bellamy Pirates had been laughably outclassed. Enel's Logia powers, bolstered by his refined mastery of the Goro Goro no Mi, had fried most of the enemies with only a few bolts. Rin, wielding his Light-based sword and devastating speed similar in style to Kizaru's combat had decapitated both Ribas and Saqis in precise, almost surgical strikes. A swift double kill, achieved with frightening ease.
"You're not hurt, are you?" Artoria walked closer, inspecting him carefully her tone soft but concerned, as she looked him over for signs of injury.
"Hurt? Those losers injure Lord Rin? You're joking, right? With the protection of the Glint-Glint Fruit and power that rivals even the admirals Rin-sama's untouchable!" Enel suddenly reappeared, floating down with electricity crackling faintly off his body. Having obliterated the New Vicky Bellow, he had just dispersed the storm clouds that had gathered earlier.
"Exactly! Rin's on a whole different level those guys couldn't even scratch him." Artoria nodded in agreement, clearly reassured by Enel's words. Yet, to anyone watching, her tone carried a hint of pride perhaps even admiration. From the outside, it looked less like a statement of fact and more like unintentional boasting.
"Hahaha, are you bragging now?" Casa, who had just come topside to investigate the earlier explosion, overheard Artoria and smirked. The way she beamed when talking about Rin was impossible to miss. "You're not even hiding the flirting anymore."
"What are you doing, slacking off? Get back to your post or I'll dock your pay!" Rin barked, half-joking, half-serious, and hurled a small light beam that sent both Casa and Enel scrambling. He wasn't about to let them tease him and Artoria—especially not after that kind of battle. If nothing else, he had a captain's image to maintain.
