Chapter 99 - CHAPTER 96 – LALA’S STALKER, HARUKA MINAMOTO

*Note: Alright, let's talk about the most hated character in this fic: Haruka. As everyone already knows, Haruka is a promiscuous lesbian whose goal is to win over Lala—just like Ren, except Ren is a guy and she's a girl; apart from the promiscuity, they're basically the same. I've given her a bit of character development later on, but I can't decide what to do with her, so I've come up with several options and I'm waiting for your help:

 - Send her back to her hometown (which would basically throw away all the character development she's had so far, but it's an option).

- Haruka discovers Akira's and the girls' identities, but since she becomes friends with Lala and doesn't want to leave her, she ends up working for Akira in the future — how exactly that plays out is up to me.

- This one is a bit curious: I change Rito into Riko and let them get together. Simple—I'd spend a few chapters (maximum three) explaining their relationship and so on.

- A mix of options 2 and 3: she works under Akira while having a relationship with Riko.

- The option no one will probably want, and the one I have to propose anyway: add Haruka to Akira's harem. Of course there wouldn't be any yuri scenes because I'd personally make sure that doesn't happen.

- The last possibility I can think of—something I didn't want to propose—is killing her off, but I don't think I'll do that because it's not my style; if anything I'd prefer option 1 over that.

That's all I can think of for now. If none of these options satisfy you, I'd be happy to hear your suggestions — but please avoid anything involving death or torture as much as possible. Thanks.

WARNING:

There will be no yuri content in this story. If a scene ever seems to hint at it, it will only be for the sake of humor, tension, or misunderstandings — it will never develop into that kind of relationship. The main storyline remains focused on Akira and his girls, keeping the usual romantic, comedic, and adventure tone of the fic.

Have a good day :)

...

Since I already knew where Saki was and when she'd return, I had plenty of time to prepare a strategy to win her and her entourage over—though something told me I wouldn't have to do anything for her to approach me. Once she saw how many beautiful girls had transferred to the school and realized they were all connected to me… she'd probably come looking for me on her own, just like in the anime.

Moving on to another, less important topic—something happened at school on Tuesday. And no, it wasn't another assassin trying to kill me. In fact, things were pretty quiet. What did happen, though, was the arrival of a new transfer student.

It all happened that morning…

"Alright, everyone, quiet down!" said the teacher.

The students, who had been chatting nonstop with their friends, fell silent at the teacher's shout.

"Today we have a new student joining us!" the teacher announced.

At those words, whispers filled the classroom again. The boys hoped it would be a cute girl, while the girls were curious to see if it'd be a handsome boy.

"Silence!" the teacher shouted again.

Once more, the room went quiet.

"Alright, you can come in," said the teacher.

When he said that, a beautiful girl entered the room with light, confident steps. The girl had long black hair down to her waist, blue eyes, modest breasts, and wore the Sainan Academy uniform.

"It's her!" Lala suddenly said.

"That's the girl who tried to hit on you?" I asked curiously.

"Yes. She's the one I told you about," Lala nodded.

Damn it… this was going to be troublesome. Not because Haruka had any chance with Lala—no—but because this girl would try to flirt with her at every opportunity, and that was going to be annoying.

Haruka stood in front of the class while every boy stared at her in awe, imagining what it would be like to date her and thinking of ways to win her over—without realizing they had no chance at all.

"Good morning. My name is Minamoto Haruka. It's a pleasure to meet you all," Haruka introduced herself.

"Would you like to say anything else before taking your seat, Minamoto-san?" asked the teacher.

"Yes, there are a few things I'd like to clarify beforehand, so there won't be any misunderstandings later," Haruka nodded.

"Go ahead, we're listening," the teacher said.

"First, I advise all the boys in this class not to try flirting with me. I'm not into men—only women," Haruka declared.

"Damn, she's a lesbian! What bad luck!" the boys thought in unison.

Why did such a beautiful girl have to be a lesbian? Was God playing a cruel joke on them?

"And second, I have only one goal at this school—to win over Lala and make her mine. I want everyone to know that I came here because I like Lala and I intend to make her my girlfriend," Haruka said.

She wanted to make that perfectly clear—not only so the guys wouldn't bother her, but also to send a message to Akira that she was coming after his girlfriend. She wanted to put pressure on him—and yes, she had already investigated Akira and knew all about him, except for the alien-related stuff, of course. Still, she knew he was Lala's boyfriend and that he lived with three other beautiful women.

Haruka had deduced that Akira probably had a harem like she did, which made him a worthy rival. Unfortunately, she couldn't find out anything about the girls living with him—not even about Lala. It was as if they didn't exist at all. That only made her more curious as to why she couldn't uncover anything about Akira's women. As for Akira himself, he was just a poor orphan with no family background. The fact that he'd managed to build a harem at all was pure luck. With such a weak background, he was no match for her. His harem days were numbered. She had nothing against him personally, but who told him to have such beautiful girls in his harem? He could blame God for that.

When she said that, everyone was stunned—and immediately turned to look at Akira to see how he'd react. Was he jealous? Angry, maybe? Haruna, Yui, and the others also glanced at him, but far from showing any irritation or anger, he was as calm as ever, completely unchanged.

"Sato-kun, meet me on the rooftop during lunch. We need to talk," Haruka said.

"As you wish," I shrugged.

I only accepted because I wanted to have a bit of fun and was curious about what she had to say.

Lala, on the other hand, didn't even react to Haruka's declaration. She had already rejected her once, and if Haruka thought transferring to her school would change that… she clearly had some mental issues. Lala loved me almost as much as her own life, and nothing or no one could change that. Haruka, unaware of how deep Lala's love truly was, still believed she could make her fall for her—without realizing she'd already lost the war before it even started…

"Ahem. Nice declaration. Now, please pick a seat and sit down," said the teacher.

Haruka walked straight toward the seat next to Lala, where a random student was sitting.

"Excuse me, I'd like to sit next to Lala-san. Would you mind switching seats, please?" Haruka asked with a sweet smile.

The boy, who was already jealous of Akira's connections with the most beautiful girls in class—no, in the entire school—agreed and moved. He wanted to see if Haruka could really take Lala away. At least then, Akira would finally know how the rest of the guys felt watching him flirt with so many girls.

{Note: jealousy is a terrible thing, guys.}

"Thank you very much," Haruka said.

She then sat down and looked at Lala with a flirtatious gaze, which Lala completely ignored.

"Alright, let's continue the lesson. Minamoto-san, since you don't have textbooks yet, you can share with someone until they arrive," said the teacher.

"Lala-san, can I share with you?" Haruka asked with a smile.

But without waiting for an answer, she pushed her desk against Lala's, and the two shared the textbook for the rest of the day.

Lala had wanted to refuse, but Haruka hadn't given her the chance, so she had no choice but to share the book—while, for the first time, thinking that the person sitting beside her was a nuisance.

Hours later.

When lunchtime arrived, Haruka and I headed straight for the rooftop while the girls went to the cafeteria, asking Lala how she knew the new student.

On the rooftop.

"So? What's so important you wanted to tell me?" I asked curiously.

"Sato Akira-kun, I challenge you to a duel for Lala's love. If I win, Lala is mine. If I lose, I'll stop interfering in your relationship," Haruka said with a serious expression.

"Interesting, but Lala isn't an object I can bet on. Still, let's say I play along and accept. Do you really think you have a chance of winning?" I asked curiously.

"Hmph. I, Haruka Minamoto, have never failed to win over a woman I like. Lala may be difficult to conquer, but I have more chances than you think," Haruka said proudly.

In reality, she hadn't conquered every woman—Souta had managed to win over girls she couldn't—but that was because of their pact. If Souta wasn't around, Haruka could seduce any woman, lesbian or not. For her, sexual orientation wasn't a barrier—just another challenge to overcome.

"You're funny. Go ahead and try, but you've already lost this war before it even began," I said with a smile.

"Hmph. We'll see about that," Haruka replied.

Then she reached into her pocket, pulled out her phone, and showed me a photo—the one she'd secretly taken of Lala leaving the bathroom.

"What do you think? I got this in just one day. Give me a week, and Lala will be mine," Haruka said confidently.

"Ha! That's hilarious!" I laughed.

She had tried to use the photo to make me nervous, but what she didn't know was that Lala had already told me everything.

"What's so funny? Aren't you angry? Jealous, maybe?" Haruka asked, confused.

She had expected the photo to throw me off completely, yet instead I was laughing. Why?

"You see, Lala and I don't keep secrets. Do you really think she didn't tell me you took that picture without her consent? Or that you kissed her against her will? You know that's sexual harassment, right?" I said calmly.

Damn it. Her plan had failed.

"Hmph, you caught me. So what? In a few weeks, I'll make that scene a reality. Just wait," Haruka said defiantly.

She turned to leave, but I grabbed her arm.

"What are you doing?" Haruka asked, surprised.

Was I angry? About to hit her?

"As I said, you kissed my girlfriend without her consent, so…" I said.

Then I pulled her toward me and grabbed her firm backside.

"What?" Haruka gasped.

Without warning, I kissed her on the lips.

Shocked, Haruka tried to push me away—but slowly, that resistance faded, and she began to kiss me back.

She didn't know why. She didn't like men, so normally she would have shoved me away, maybe even slapped me or accused me of harassment afterward—but the kiss… the kiss felt so good that she couldn't help but return it almost immediately.

It wasn't an innocent kiss, but a fierce clash of tongues that lasted for several minutes, ending with my decisive victory.

"Now we're even. And don't you ever dare do something like that to my girlfriend again. Are we clear?" I said.

Yes, technically this was sexual harassment—but who cares? This was payback for her kissing Lala without consent. Next time, she'd think twice before trying something like that again.

"You… I told you, I don't like men…" Haruka said.

Her face was red to the ears. She had come ready to humiliate and pressure me, but instead, she was the one left embarrassed.

"Mmm, you sure didn't seem to hate it. Otherwise, why didn't you stop me? You could have at any time, but you didn't. You even kissed me back. Maybe you're bisexual after all?" I teased.

"S-Shut up!" Haruka yelled, flustered.

She didn't want to admit it, but that kiss had stirred feelings inside her she didn't know existed. She still liked women—but then why had she enjoyed the kiss? Why had she returned it? Why hadn't she pulled away—and instead felt reluctant to part her lips from mine? What had I done to her?

"You'll pay for this! Just wait! Within a week, I'll have my revenge!" Haruka shouted.

In her mind, she could already see it: her hugging Lala, flirting in front of a defeated Akira who could only watch in regret.

After saying that, she left, leaving me alone.

"That's what you get for messing with my girl," I said calmly.

Then I headed downstairs as well. There was still plenty of time left for lunch, and I was sure I'd have to answer the girls' questions.

"Still, watching her try and fail to win Lala over should be entertaining," I said with a smile.

{Note: Akira has no idea how right he is. Do you really think I, the author, would ever write a yuri netorare? I despise yuri in a harem story, and don't even get me started on my hatred for netorare. I'd never include anything like that in my fics. So for those getting nervous—relax, there won't be any yuri. And for the pervs—give it up. Still, I'll leave you with two options. Do you want Haruka added to Akira's harem? I already know your answer, but hey, maybe I'll be surprised. Either way, I'll ask again in a few chapters. And if you say no, don't worry—I have a fitting ending for Haruka that I'm sure you'll like… maybe. Still deciding.}
