Chapter 208 - CHAPTER 201 – DATE WITH RUN (PART TWO)

"Alright, if that makes you happy…" I said.

It wasn't the first time I'd done this. I had already acted as a judge for the girls before, so I wasn't embarrassed or anything like that.

"Excellent! Then I'm counting on you!" Run said.

Before I could say anything, Run ran off and started grabbing all the clothes she liked — or at least I think so — and after a while, she headed straight to the fitting room with all of them.

After waiting a few minutes, the fitting room curtain slid open, revealing the first outfit Run decided to try on.

Run was now wearing a short white skirt and a simple, slightly fitted t-shirt, paired with a light jacket. The outfit was simple, but it gave her a much more natural feel.

"How do I look?" Run asked with a smile.

I looked carefully at the new outfit Run had tried on and nodded.

"You look simply beautiful. The skirt and jacket match your incredible figure and beauty perfectly. I love it," I said.

Run blushed slightly. Akira had called her beautiful! It seemed her plan was working!

"Then this one stays. Let's try the next one!" Run said cheerfully.

Akira sighed. He was in for a very long afternoon.

A few minutes later, the curtain slid open again, revealing the second outfit. This time she wore a light-colored dress with a slightly loose skirt that fell gently. The outfit gave her a sweeter and more delicate air, completely different from her usual image.

"And this one? How does it look on me?" Run asked.

"While it's not the style you usually wear… it really suits you. It even makes me want to hug you tightly because you look so cute and beautiful right now!" I said sincerely.

That dress looked so good on her that it practically said: "Hug me tight and spoil me!" It was irresistible!

"Then this one is coming with me too!" Run said happily.

Run closed the curtain again and moved on to the next outfit.

A few more minutes later, the curtain slid open once more, but this time Run's outfit left Akira frozen in place.

This time Run opted for tight shorts and a shorter-than-usual t-shirt, slightly revealing her waist. She wore an open jacket over it that balanced the look. As soon as she came out, Run crossed her arms, aware of what she was showing.

"And this one? I wanted to try something more… daring," Run said.

Akira almost got an erection. Luckily, his concentration and self-control kicked in and prevented it, but he couldn't stop himself from suddenly hugging Run.

"W-what are you doing?" Run asked, surprised.

It wasn't that she didn't like being in his arms. It was just so sudden that she didn't have time to react.

"You're beautiful," Akira said with a smile.

Run flashed a smile full of happiness at his words, but… he had also said the same thing earlier and hadn't hugged her like this.

"It's not that I dislike it. In fact, I'd rather stay like this, but… why are you hugging me so suddenly?" Run asked, confused.

"Although this outfit looks amazing on you, I don't think it's your style. Dresses like the ones from before suit you better — something daring, but not at this level," Akira replied.

Run understood almost immediately.

"Are you… upset that other people might see me dressed like this?" Run dared to ask.

Seeing Akira tense up and not offer a response, Run confirmed her suspicions. He simply didn't want anyone else to see her showing so much skin!

"I understand… You're right, this isn't my style. I think I'll stick with the previous ones," Run said.

Then she gently pulled away from Akira and returned to the fitting room.

"Thank you," Akira nodded.

Akira knew she had done this for him. Truthfully, it wasn't that he disliked the outfit, but he simply didn't want others looking at her body lustfully. Those shorts were impressive, but in exchange, part of her ass cheek was showing. Plus, they were so tight that they basically outlined her entire figure… And as for the t-shirt, it was one of those short ones that didn't even reach her navel, leaving her beautiful skin exposed, and the jacket was exactly the same length. In short, the outfit was incredible, but it showed a lot of cleavage, a lot of ass, and quite a bit of skin — something Akira didn't like.

Some might think he's being archaic in this regard, that every girl can wear whatever she wants, but in a relationship there are times when one has to compromise and try to please their partner if what pleases them is something as simple as this. Why not respect Akira's opinion? Besides, he hadn't even said anything. It was Run who understood and did it of her own free will.

Run didn't complain, not only because she liked Akira — which by itself would have made her change immediately — but because Akira, despite the short time they had been together, always tried hard to please her and fulfill her whims no matter what they were. Not only had she confirmed this herself, but the other girls had also told her many stories about the times Akira fulfilled their requests without complaining. He had even agreed to change his already-made plans for this date without complaint. What was wrong with showing him a little respect this time? In a couple, each person should show respect for their partner, and Akira had already done so much for her in such a short time… Why shouldn't she respect his opinion about not wearing this kind of clothing? Besides, it wasn't like he wanted her to dress like a nun. He just didn't want her wearing such revealing clothes, but other than that, he didn't seem to mind what kind of outfit she wore. What was wrong with pleasing him? If with this small detail he was already happy, then she would do it.

With that said, the fashion session continued. Run tried on several more outfits, showing Akira her unique charm and making his eyes unable to look away from her — especially from her breasts and ass. It seemed those were the parts of her body he paid the most attention to. So when she ran out of outfits to try and went out to look for more, she searched for outfits that, without being too revealing, enhanced her breasts and ass. And so a new fashion session began.

After more than an hour, the fashion session ended and Run bought all the outfits Akira approved — some more revealing, others more conservative — but she bought them all regardless of the price.

When they went to pay, the saleswoman was so surprised she almost fainted. She had never seen anyone buy so much clothing at once! It should be noted that all the clothes in this store were branded, so their prices were several times higher than those in cheaper stores. Even the most extravagant customers usually didn't take more than 3 items at a time, but… Run had taken more than ten pieces of clothing! All of this made the total price exorbitant, but surprisingly Run didn't even look at the price. She simply placed her phone on the reader and paid as if it were nothing, unconcerned by the astronomical amount shown on the small screen.

"She's loaded!" the saleswoman exclaimed internally.

In this store you had your base salary — no one could take that away — but you also worked on commission. The more you sold, the more money you earned. While the base salary was quite generous and enough to live comfortably and even afford some luxuries, it was always good to earn more. What she had considered a quiet day suddenly earned her a commission several times larger than her base salary — several times! It was simply one of the best days of her entire life!

While the saleswoman was overflowing with happiness, Akira and Run, unaware of it, left the store and headed to their next destination.

"Run… I'm sorry I couldn't pay for everything," Akira apologized.

The truth was he wanted to pay for her clothes, but the amount was too large. If he spent that much… his bank account would take a huge hit, and until he started earning money from Dragon Ball he couldn't afford such astronomical expenses.

"Good thing I was smart and ended up writing the Dragon Ball manga, otherwise I wouldn't be able to stand the girls always inviting me to everything," Akira sighed to himself.

This wasn't about showing machismo for the sake of it, but simply because he couldn't stand them paying for everything all the time.

Given his large number of women, if Akira invited all of them every time, his bank account would have been emptied centuries ago. So of course, each one usually paid for herself. Ahem, there were exceptions like Dita who always invited Yami, and Haruka who always invited Lala to everything and wouldn't let her pay for anything. As for Akira, he usually didn't even pay for himself. Normally one of the girls would pay for him — whether Momo, Nana, Yami… in general they all invited him. Even Haruka often paid for him. Sometimes this made him feel like a gigolo taking advantage of women to eat and drink for free. Luckily, he would then remember that all those beautiful girls were his women and future wives and calm down. Still, he always wished he could pay the entire bill at least once. Before this thought had been impossible, but he was sure that thanks to the Dragon Ball manga, this would change soon.

The date continued. More stores, more clothes… until it was finally time to eat. There weren't any extremely elegant restaurants in the shopping mall, so they chose one with a menu they liked, sat down, and ordered their respective meals.

"Are you having a good time?" Akira asked.

Run didn't hesitate.

"Super good! It's been a long time since I've had this much fun!" Run nodded.

To avoid saddening Akira, she avoided saying that she didn't remember having such a happy moment before arriving on Earth. Being a noble with almost unlimited wealth was fine at first, but when you have everything, everything starts to become more boring. Besides, as a noble, her freedom was extremely limited for obvious reasons, so the happy moments she remembered were when she was with her parents, and even those weren't entirely happy since she had to share a body with her brother… Being "inside" her brother's body since birth had made her miss many happy moments. But ever since she arrived on Earth, ever since she became Akira's woman, ever since she became friends with all the girls… she had only lived happy moments, every day. But this was the happiest. Why? The answer is a question. Why wouldn't she be happy when going on a romantic date with her partner? Run loved Akira deeply, so being alone with him was pure happiness for her. The place didn't matter. What was important to Run was being by his side, alone.

Run understood that, having a harem, Akira couldn't attend to all of them at the same time and she understood that. But Akira always tried hard to make time for them and please them as much as possible. He was an honest, strong, kind, protective boy… the list of virtues went on, too many to enumerate. That's why Run was delighted. Just a few months ago she thought she would be the object of a political marriage like all noblewomen, that she would marry someone she didn't love… That was an unpleasant thought for someone who yearned for love. But who would have thought that just a few months later her life would change to this extent? Engaged to the man she loved and living a happy life with her sisters, in her own body, without sharing it with Ren. Was there anything that could make her even happier? Right now she was at the peak of happiness!
