Chapter 9 - The Witch Child – A Level 4 Reality Bender!

[Selected Universes: The Outcast Universe, A Certain Magical Index Universe]

[Summoned Agents: Zhang Chulan (The Outcast), Touma Kamijou (A Certain Magical Index)]

As the solemn voice echoed across the multiverse, every world erupted in excitement.

The Outcast Universe – Huabei Branch, "Which Tao" Company

"Holy shit! Am I seeing this right?!"

Xu Si launched himself off the couch, ashes from his cigarette scattering everywhere.

"Zhang Chulan got picked?!"

Feng Baozi blinked, tilting her head. "So he gets to travel to another universe? Cool!"

Xu Si nearly choked. "This isn't a vacation! He could die!"

The memory of SCP-682 and Saitama's planet-shaking battle flashed in his mind.

Xu San hung up the phone, his expression grim. "The board confirmed it. It's really him."

A heavy silence fell.

While Heterics (异人, Yìrén) could manipulate Qi for superhuman feats, they were still human—nothing like the monsters they'd just witnessed.

Feng Baozi scratched her head. "Maybe this anomaly ain't as scary as the last one?"

Xu Si and Xu San exchanged glances.

"...Let's hope so."

A Certain Magical Index Universe – Academy City

"Huh? That idiot got chosen?"

Misaka Mikoto stared at the screen in disbelief.

Kuroko Shirai snorted. "That ape's probably gonna mess things up."

"A Level 0? What's he gonna do, bore the anomaly to death?"

"Bet he'll be as useless as Deadpool."

Mikoto frowned.

She might act annoyed with Kamijou, but she knew his right hand could negate even her Level 5 electromaster attacks.

"Just don't let him face something too insane..."

The Second Containment Mission Begins

As the chatter across worlds reached a fever pitch—

The screen lit up again.

A deep voice announced:

[Containment Mission Start!]

[Target: The Witch Child (SCP-239)]

The chat froze.

"The Witch Child? What's that?"

After the SCP-682 fiasco, no one dared underestimate anything.

But still—

"It can't be worse than the unkillable lizard, right?"

"A little girl who uses magic?"

"Maybe this one's easier?"

"Lucky break for the new guys."

Site-0 – Chu Yun's Reaction

Watching the chat's optimistic delusions, Chu Yun almost laughed.

"They think SCP-239 is weaker than SCP-682?"

Absurd.

In terms of survivability, sure, SCP-682 was unkillable.

But in raw destructive power?

A hundred SCP-682s couldn't compare.

Because SCP-239 was a Level 4 Reality Bender.

Her influence range wasn't vast, but within it, reality was her plaything.

She could erase and recreate humans, turn entire sites into plush toys, or spawn new anomalies on a whim.

Thankfully, this time's agents weren't clueless.

[Item #: SCP-239]

[Object Class: Keter]

The audience stiffened.

"Another Keter?!"

Marvel Universe – S.H.I.E.L.D.

Nick Fury's eye twitched. "Another Keter?!"

They didn't fully grasp the classification—

But they knew SCP-682 was Keter.

Natasha's voice was dry. "You're telling me this 'Witch Child' is just as dangerous?"

The room exchanged horrified glances.

The Witch Child's Profile

[Description: SCP-239 appears as an 8-year-old girl, 1m tall, 20kg. Shoulder-length blonde hair. Eyes "gleam" with gray-green hues. Emits unknown radiation (designated ██). At low levels, harmless. At high levels, disintegrates matter at the subatomic level.]

For a moment, the audience relaxed.

"Wait… she's just a kid?"

Then—

The next line shattered that illusion.

[SCP-239 can do anything she intends to do.]

Silence.

Then—

Panic.
