The junk-golem's toy head twitched, speakers crackling with distorted laughter as it hurled metal scraps wildly.
Irantu sighed. "This is... annoying." He jerked his chin toward the exit. "Onru—evac the civvies. Master Chief—suppress it."
Bullets ricocheted harmlessly off its scrap-armor.
"Hey, Roomba-wannabe! Catch!" Jinx lobbed a grenade.
The entity caught it mid-air—
BOOM!
Its hands blew apart. "HOW DARE YOU?! I SHALL CRUSH YOUR—"
WHAM!
Titus leapt onto its back, wrenched the robot head free, and slammed it into the wall.
"NO! I AM PROPHET! I AM—"
CRUNCH.
Three punches reduced it to sparking debris.
Reunion & Ruin
The team regrouped with Munru and Nanku—both battered. Munru's legs were scorched; Nanku's lower jaw was gone, her clothes soaked in black fluid.
Onru smirked. "Looking good."
"Morale improved significantly after Nanku lost her voice," Munru cackled.
Nanku flipped him off with her remaining hand—then realized her flamethrower arm was missing. She switched fingers.
Hollis cut in: "Adorable. Now—how close are we to the exit?"
A subterranean roar answered him.
CRACK!
The floor collapsed, swallowing a screaming researcher.
The team peered into the abyss—
Chat Group imploded:
"HOLY F—KING SH*T."
"IS THAT THE LEECH QUEEN?!"
"IT ATE THE ENTIRE LOWER FACILITY?!"
Honkai Star Rail Universe – Herta Station
Herta's fingers dug into her desk. "So the 'leeches' were just... appendages."
The true horror lay below: a colossal black mass—200 meters tall—its body a seething ocean of ooze, crowned with a naked woman fused into its flesh.
The Descent
The team fled as tendrils thick as redwoods burst through walls. Gunfire barely slowed them.
"DEAD END!" Deadpool screamed.
Hollis' eyes burned with manic clarity. "I KNOW WHERE WE ARE. FOLLOW ME."
He led them to a chamber labeled:
OLYMPIA PROJECT TESTING ZONE
"Open it. NOW," Hollis ordered, pointing at a vault-like door.
Onru hesitated. "What's inside—?"
"DO IT!"
The Sacrifice
Hollis turned to the team, voice eerily calm.
"Listen. Civilians—run past this room. Up the access shaft to the generator plant."
To the Master Chief: "Your team covers the rear."
To Irantu: "You and I hold this line."
Titus stepped forward—
Irantu blocked him. "This is Tau-5's duty." A grim smile. "We don't die."
The Gate Opens
The walls ruptured.
The Leviathan emerged—a mountain of teeth and eyes, its human-faced core shrieking:
"AAAAAAAAAH—"
The sound froze souls across dimensions.
Then—
BOOM.
The vault door slid open.
Cold mist poured out.
A figure floated forth—seven meters tall, wreathed in silent flame, a greatsword in hand.
WHOOSH.
Six wings of fire unfurled, illuminating the hellscape.
Chat Group flatlined.
Every universe held its breath.
For standing before them was—
The Archangel Uriel.
Gatekeeper of the Divine.
