Chapter 257 - The Hand That Sealed Heaven

The chants had stopped. The winds calmed. The sky, once thundering and red, had turned pale and still.

But in front of the Seventh Door, something remained — a swirling light like galaxies, glowing and spinning like it was alive, standing as a final barrier. Not against the world. But for the world. As if waiting for someone…

The one who once created it.

Inside the parked car, Mirshad struggled to breathe. His body trembled. His soul… half awake, half fading.

Rayyan turned to him. "Brother?"

Mirshad nodded. "Take me to it…"

Rayyan rushed out and held his brother. Military officers, who had just arrived by the minister's orders, ran to the car. Seeing Mirshad in pain — their faces changed from shock… to fear… to awe.

"Make way!" Rayyan ordered.

Soldiers parted like waves.

And as Mirshad and Rayyan stepped forward, the world finally saw him.

Cameras turned. News anchors went silent. The crowd whispered.

He was here… all along…

With each step, the earth quieted. And when they reached the very first door… Mirshad collapsed to one knee.

Rayyan held him, barely letting him fall.

"I'll stand," Mirshad whispered. "Even if it's the last time."

Suddenly, a bolt of lightning struck the air above the Seventh Door.

The crowd screamed and backed away — but Rayyan stood still. He knew.

From within the lightning, a figure descended.

The Guardian.

A celestial being of pure light — formed from the memories Mirshad locked away.

The Guardian didn't speak with words. Only action.

It struck Mirshad's chest — not to hurt, but to awaken the final spark needed to seal what had been opened.

A massive burst of light exploded from Mirshad's body — not fire. Not chaos.

Creation itself.

The light spread across the skies, the earth, the stars — like the heartbeat of the universe.

And just like that, the doors inside him — the memory of the forgotten god — sealed once more.

The light vanished. And Mirshad fell to the ground.

Unmoving. Unconscious.

Rayyan caught him and screamed, "Medical! Now!"

Soldiers rushed. They didn't wait for instructions — they carried him into one of the protected ancient passages within the temple.

Rayyan followed, heart pounding, tears at the edge of his eyes.

Behind them… silence.

Just when everyone thought it was over — the Seventh Door cracked open.

Not violently. But gently… as if the temple itself was now bowing to the man who saved the world.

A soft golden light spilled into the open chamber.

Inside… a room no human had seen for over a thousand years.

And yet… the torches inside were still burning.

No fuel. No time. Just flame — kept alive by something greater.

Everyone — military, media, spiritual holders, ministers — stared in disbelief.

"How can this fire still burn…?"

And then, one of the Mandram Holders stepped forward. He held up the final Thali, the sacred scroll passed down through generations. He opened it with shaking hands and began to read.

Let it be written. Let it be known.

No one may open the memory of the Creator.

If anyone tries… the world will collapse.

But the Creator loves his people.

He will not let them suffer.

He will seal it himself…

Even if it breaks him.

A long silence followed. Tears filled the eyes of many who heard it.

The minister whispered, "He didn't just protect us…"

He protected us from himself.

Inside the ancient corridor, Mirshad lay unconscious on a divine bed carved into the stone itself.

Rayyan sat beside him. The flame outside still burned. The air was still sacred.

The world was safe — only because he chose peace… over power.
