August 23, 1503, Age of the Sea Circle
Gloriosa ran toward the place where the massive pillar of electricity was striking violently against the ground, completely engulfing Olive's body, yet she was unable to get too close because of the sheer ferocity of the energy in that area.
With great helplessness, the young pink-haired girl could only remain off to the side, waiting for Olive to somehow emerge alive from such a tremendous attack.
On the other hand, Medina Akhmetova had stopped praying for the soul of the sexy pirate, and was now observing the great pillar of electricity with a deep frown.
"How strange…" murmured the vice admiral as she perceived the great changes that were occurring at the epicenter of her attack.
For some unknown reason that she could not explain, the energy of her attack was vanishing without leaving a trace, instead of exploding violently and destroying everything in its path as she had originally planned.
The massive pillar of electricity began to grow increasingly thinner at great speed, and Medina had no choice but to accept that Olive had somehow found a way to counter her attack. For that reason, she immediately coated her body in Armament Haki, preparing herself once again for combat with the pirate.
Finally, after just a few brief moments, the pillar of electricity disappeared completely, revealing Olive entirely unscathed. She had not only managed to avoid taking any damage from the powerful attack, but had absorbed all of the electricity in order to empower herself.
Both Gloriosa and Medina Akhmetova stared at Olive in surprise, because her physical appearance had changed after receiving the attack. She was now in her natural human form, while a pair of white wings sprouted from her back, marking her Zoan powers.
Even so, her wings were not the same as the ones she had shown earlier, as they were at least three times larger in size and were covered in electric currents, which caused the pure white of the feathers to occasionally take on a light-blue sheen. Furthermore, Olive's body was also glowing with these bluish sparks, and even the color of her long green hair had turned silver and blue.
Above all else, the greatest change in her was in her eyes, which now displayed a completely calm expression, as if everything were in her hands at that very moment.
Medina looked at the pirate, and noticed that the ground around her had not suffered any damage from her attack, which meant that Olive had absorbed all of the electrical energy she had sent her, without allowing even a little of it to escape.
"What is it that you've done?" asked the vice admiral solemnly.
For some reason she could not fully explain, Olive now gave her a sense of danger she had not felt before, and in this world, no powerful person ignored their instincts in situations like this.
Olive's smile grew even more radiant and beautiful upon hearing Medina's question, and raising her hand, she produced electricity in her palm, forming a small sphere of energy the size of a bullet. Then, with a movement so fast that it was impossible to see with the naked eye, she fired the electric projectile off to the side.
Bang!
The projectile exploded against Laffitte's cane, as he had silently appeared while the three women were distracted, and was attempting to kidnap Catarina Devon and Hototogisu, who were unconscious.
"Ooh, such violence~ If you didn't want me to touch your friend, you only had to say so," said Laffitte with a somewhat sickly smile as he stepped away from the unconscious Hototogisu.
He was already carrying Catarina Devon over his shoulder, and had also planned to kidnap the other girl; after all, she was very beautiful, and perhaps they might find some "use" for her within the pirate crew, even if she did not agree to join them.
However, now that he had been discovered by Olive, Laffitte had no intention of confronting the women, since he did not consider it necessary to create problems where none existed.
His original mission was to bring Catarina back, and he had already achieved that, so he immediately concluded that the time had come to withdraw.
For that reason, after briefly glancing at the women present, he gave a small bow with his top hat, and flew away from the place at full speed, using the white wings that had just sprouted from his back.
Olive had no interest whatsoever in Laffitte, and as long as he did not approach Hototogisu and Gloriosa, she did not care what he did. Moreover, it was obvious that this mysterious man was not a simple opponent, so Olive limited herself to protecting her ground, with no intention of pursuing him or entering into conflict with him.
On the other hand, Medina Akhmetova knew Laffitte's identity, and the fact that Catarina Devon was being rescued by them right under her nose caused her muscles to tense involuntarily as she prepared for battle.
Even so, she did not move immediately to pursue Laffitte, because Olive was still standing in front of her with an aggressive air, emitting a great amount of electrical energy from her body.
"Perhaps you don't know this, but Pegasus is the bearer of the divine thunder! It's impossible for your powers to harm me in the slightest!" said Olive with a great smile, remembering Orion.
After Orion gave her the Mythical Devil Fruit of the Pegasus, he had told her the myths about that mysterious being — which he knew from his past life — and one aspect that had greatly intrigued them both had been one of Pegasus's main traits: its role as bearer of the divine thunder.
Although Pegasus could not produce this thunder, it was the one in charge of transporting it after receiving it from Zeus, the god of thunder. Even so, Olive had never noticed any lightning-related powers among her Pegasus abilities, which until now were limited only to an exponential increase in strength, the ability to fly, and the capacity to slightly control the wind.
She and Orion had speculated that perhaps she might be able to control lightning if she ever managed to awaken her Devil Fruit, but they were not certain of it. Now, after receiving Medina Akhmetova's lethal attack, Olive had finally been able to experience for the first time the sensation of mastering thunder and electricity, and her power had increased exponentially because of it.
This opened up a new world of possibilities for her, although she would have to experiment in the future in order to learn how to make the best use of this new ability she had discovered. Even so, right now the most important thing was to escape the complicated situation they were in.
"The bearer of thunder…?" said the vice admiral thoughtfully, but she was unable to reflect on it for long, because Olive vanished from where she had been standing and appeared right in front of her, launching a powerful attack.
"Pegasus Meteor!"
Olive's signature attack — which was also the very first attack she had used thanks to her Devil Fruit — finally revealed its true power. Even though at this moment her muscles were not swollen as they were when she used the regular humanoid form of her Zoan Fruit, her body was now far stronger than usual.
The electricity coursing through her body stimulated her muscles, causing their power to increase exponentially without the need to enlarge in size, so although she appeared more delicate than usual, the power of her attack was far greater than expected.
Moreover, both her wind and electricity attributes worked together in a synergistic way to increase the speed of her attack, making the vice admiral feel an enormous pressure from the very first instant of the assault.
Medina Akhmetova had no choice but to coat her body in Armament Haki as she tried her best to block Olive's rain of blows, which struck so fast that she could not perceive them even when using her advanced Observation Haki.
Little by little, Medina's body began to fill with visible bruises in spite of her iron defenses with Haki and Tekkai, and the vice admiral was fortunate to be immune to electricity, because otherwise the damage she received would have been fatal.
Olive saw that Medina was defending herself passively like a turtle, and she knew she could not continue like that forever. Even though she temporarily had more power thanks to the electricity reserves she had absorbed from the vice admiral's attack, that electricity was not infinite, and she would not be able to defeat the powerful marine before its effect ran out.
For that reason, Olive immediately made the best possible decision, and after confirming the positions of Hototogisu and Gloriosa, she ended her rain of blows and wrapped one of her legs around the vice admiral's neck, who stared at her in great surprise.
"It seems I'm not a very compatible opponent for you, so why don't we just call it a draw? You don't want that ugly one you were chasing to get away, do you?" said Olive with a playful and flirtatious smile.
Then, without waiting for the vice admiral's response, she spun in the air, propelling herself with her wings, and slammed Medina's head against the ground, causing her to remain buried in the dirt like an ostrich.
"I hope we don't meet again~" said Olive cheerfully, and moving at full speed, she took her two traveling companions into her arms, flying at top speed toward the Calm Belt.
Even though she appeared quite relaxed on the surface, her body was covered in a thin layer of sweat, because she was reaching the time limit of her new "borrowed" powers.
Even so, she still had just enough left to escape from Medina Akhmetova — but only if the vice admiral decided not to pursue her with all her strength. Ultimately, she was still in a very dangerous situation, depending entirely on someone else's decision.
After a few brief moments, Medina pulled her head out of the ground and looked at the bright point on the horizon that represented Olive. For a moment, she felt the urge to chase her down and capture her no matter what, but in the end she sighed and decided not to try.
It was true that Olive was a bad match for her powers, since Medina did not know whether she was capable of absorbing all the electrical attacks she might launch at her or not. In any case, the best thing now was to focus on capturing Catarina Devon, who was her original target on this occasion.
Even so, Medina thought that once she finished her current job, she would call the base to report Olive's abilities and request that her bounty be increased more appropriately according to her real power. Perhaps this brief encounter with one of the most powerful women in the world might cause the sexy pirate great headaches in the future.
Medina Akhmetova sat down on the ground and pulled the bag full of snacks from inside her clothes while she watched her subordinates running across the beach toward her.
"Vice Admiral, we've found a group of pirates in the area — they're in the company of Catarina Devon," said one of Medina's subordinates.
"Yes, I already know. Get ready to pursue them, and call the nearest base for reinforcements. Tell them that the rookie Blackbeard is in the area."
The vice admiral ate a couple of her snacks, then stood up while brushing the dirt from her clothes, after which she stared intently at her subordinates and added:
"By the way, you took far too long to arrive and provide support. As soon as we return to the base, we're going to have an intensive training session!"
The faces of the vice admiral's subordinates were immediately filled with despair, since they knew they would have to go through hellish training once they returned to base. In an instant, that tragedy turned into anger, and they directed it toward the damned pirates in the area whom they now had to chase.
Even so, the crew of the rookie pirate Blackbeard was completely out of their league, and they would have to settle for simply being able to keep their lives once they inevitably clashed with them in the near future.
On the other hand, Olive was traveling at full speed back toward the West Blue. She had given in to Gloriosa and Hototogisu's whimsical request to come all the way to the New World without telling Orion in order to surprise him, and as a consequence she had almost caused a tragedy.
If they had been captured by Medina Akhmetova and sent to Impel Down, Orion definitely would not have stood by and done nothing, and it was highly likely that he would have done something reckless in order to rescue them. Olive knew her man very well, and she was fully aware that he would never leave them to suffer a fate worse than death inside the most famous underwater prison in the world.
However, it was precisely for that reason that Olive was blaming herself for having brought the two girls to the Grand Line, exposing them to the dangers of that legendary sea. Right now, her plan was simply to return to the West Blue without hesitating for even a second, and once there she would be able to contact Orion and tell him everything that had happened. After all, they could not keep something so important a secret from their beloved.
Racing at full speed through the skies of the New World, Olive held the two girls in her arms while she felt the electricity running through her body and increasing her flight speed. It was a shame that this special state would soon end, and that she would be unable to wield such great power again.
Even so, and despite the enormous danger of the situation this time, the three women had obtained certain gains. Olive had confirmed the theory regarding her immunity to lightning and the possibility of empowering herself with it, which was undoubtedly something extremely important; Gloriosa had awakened the dormant power inside her body, using Conqueror's Haki for the first time in her life and greatly increasing her strength for the future as a result.
As for Hototogisu… she had learned the limits of her current power, which would motivate her to train harder and break all of her limits in the future. The girl's situation was similar to Yukimura's, in the sense that both of them had a more limited potential compared to other members of Orion's forces.
The difference was that Hototogisu possessed greater potential, and since she was Orion's concubine — even though they had not taken that final step yet — she would be able to enjoy the effects of the special ability "Marital Happiness," which slightly improved the physical capabilities of Orion's women during their moments of intimacy.
If that was added to the new motivation Hototogisu would obtain after her defeat in the Grand Line, the result was that the unconventional young woman would greatly increase her combat power in the future, far surpassing her version in the original timeline.

August 29, 1503, Age of the Sea Circle
Almost a week after Olive and the others' confrontation with Medina Akhmetova, Orion received a call from the sensual pirate informing him that she was in the West Blue together with Hototogisu and Gloriosa, and explaining in detail everything that had happened days earlier in the Grand Line.
When he heard that they had nearly been captured by the Marines, Orion's expression turned tense, and he felt great irritation over the girls' reckless actions. However, all of those negative emotions quickly disappeared, replaced by overwhelming relief.
Showing a gentle smile, Orion said through the Den Den Mushi:
"The important thing is that you're safe, Olive."
"My love! I'm sorry for causing trouble! Wah—" Olive began to cry the instant she heard Orion's words, feeling both guilt and an overflowing warmth as she listened to the voice of her man, filled with affection and concern.
Orion simply comforted her patiently until the sensual pirate finally calmed down. After that, they decided that the two girls — Hototogisu and Gloriosa — would wait for Orion's arrival in the West Blue together with Yukimura, Lucky Roux, and Victoria Cindry, while Olive would return to the South Blue on her own.
Olive was a pirate captain, and she had been absent for a long time, leaving her crew under the command of her vice-captain Ginrummy. Although Ginrummy was perfectly capable of handling the situation and leading the pirate crew — and enjoyed Olive's complete trust — it was necessary for the sensual pirate to return home, since it was her responsibility as captain.
Although she truly wanted to see Orion, he had told her that it would still take him a few more weeks — assuming no new situation arose on his way back to the West Blue — so Olive decided to return to the South Blue on her own, and Orion promised that he would go see her as soon as he returned to Pacific Kingdom.
Once that had been decided, Olive was ready to end the call with her beloved, but Orion stopped her.
"Wait a moment, Olive — I want to talk to Gloriosa."
Orion's voice was no longer as gentle as it had been a moment earlier; instead, it now carried the dignity of a conquering king, which made the young Kuja's body tremble slightly as a bad premonition washed over her.
With a hint of timidity, Gloriosa took a step forward and said:
"O-Orion, w-what is it?"
Orion completely ignored the tremor in Gloriosa's voice and spoke in an imposing tone:
"Gloriosa, is it true that it was your idea to travel all the way to the New World, and that you kept pestering Olive until she agreed to take you?"
Involuntarily, Gloriosa placed her hands over her beautiful bottom, covering her buttocks, which had begun to tingle intensely due to certain memories of her meeting with Orion in Dressrosa.
On that occasion, she had also made a mistake, and had been spanked by her boyfriend until she "learned her lesson."
"Y-Yes… but I didn't mean to cause trouble… I just wanted to see you…" Gloriosa's eyes filled with tears, and her way of speaking sounded almost as if she were about to cry, while she pouted adorably with her lips.
Even so, Orion knew her personality and her tricks, and he would not let her get away so easily. He had to discipline her so that she would understand she could not act so willfully in the future, since otherwise, one day her actions might truly end in tragedy.
On this occasion, they had been lucky that the enemy they encountered happened to be a favorable match for Olive and her Pegasus Devil Fruit, because otherwise they would probably be on their way to Impel Down right now.
"Well then, prepare yourself mentally, because when I arrive in the West Blue, I'm going to discipline you," Orion said seriously, although a certain expectation could be heard in his voice, which caused Gloriosa's cheeks to turn red as her legs squeezed tightly together.
Truth be told, aside from one or two kisses, she and Orion had not shared much intimacy, so those disciplinary spankings were the closest thing to a lovers' activity they had experienced. And although Gloriosa did not want to admit it, she was secretly looking forward to Orion's arrival — and to his "reprimand."
"Orion, I also behaved badly, so you have to punish me too; otherwise it's not fair — no, otherwise I won't learn my lesson," Hototogisu suddenly said with her usual deadpan expression, trying to take advantage of the opportunity to obtain some "benefits."
She was still just as proactive as ever with Orion, and lately he had started to show signs of giving in to her advances, so perhaps she could use this opportunity to finally take that long-awaited final step with her fiancé!
"Silence, Hototogisu! I'm angry with you as well. Prepare yourself for punishment when I arrive!" Orion said, now sounding even a little agitated.
After speaking with the three women and deciding how to proceed, Orion ended the call and calmed the emotions that had welled up inside him as he imagined the rounded and plump asses of the two girls.
"Why have your muscles suddenly become so stiff?" Mitsu said, tilting her head adorably after feeling the change in Orion's body.
The little clone had been traveling with Orion for quite some time, and she had already become completely accustomed to his presence, with her favorability rapidly approaching the eighty-point mark.
Right now, she was sitting on Orion's shoulders while reading a book with interest, paying little attention to the call her "mount" had just been making.
Over the past week, she had discovered that Orion's shoulders were very comfortable, so she tended to spend all the time she could there, until Orion drove her off whenever he needed to train or take care of other things.
"Ahem! Don't worry about it — just keep reading your book," Orion said after clearing his throat, emptying his mind of all sensual thoughts.
Looking into the distance, he saw that his destination was very close. On the island just a few hours of travel ahead was the person he had come all this way to see — the beautiful blue-haired pirate he had fallen in love with at first sight years ago, and who had rejected him for being too young: Whitey Bay.
"I wonder if this time I'll finally be able to win her love," Orion murmured cheerfully as he guided the small sailboat toward the distant island.
