Chapter 75 - A Budding Magical Militia

A Budding Magical Militia

Sirius, Remus, and Tonks simply looked at Hazel. Evervine laughed.

"Stop being cruel Hazel. Give them what they're waiting for."

Hazel frowned as if she had already told the entire story and then sighed dramatically.

"Hellfire Demons are just a class of demons." She paused as if they should already know this. "All demons, and creatures, like them – especially those with a basis in magic or can perform magic - have an intrinsic connection to the dreamscape. Everything connected to the dreamscape falls under the Fate Master's per view." She shrugged "Technically I am the Fatetress now, the Fate Third Eye has chosen me so I gain the title.

"Nagini is actually compelled to be loyal to me, but demons don't normally adhere to what compels them, they tend to fight against it."

She waved her hand as if all of that was not really important, the truth was she wanted to think about it first.

"The important thing now is making sure Voldomort does not obtain what he wants from the Triwizard tournament."

Evervine nodded, but Marcel frowned.

"I think he has already gotten what he wants, I mean Harry is in the tournament."

Hazel nodded. "Fair point. But the ultimate goal could still be his blood and his death."

Sirius sighed and set back in his chair. "Both of you are targets it seems."

Tonks responded to this. "You two interest a lot of people." She shrugged, her hair became a rainbow of colors, and then she pursed her lips. "You two need to get stronger fast."

Evervine and Remus frowned the deepest but neither said anything. Hazel shrugged again and looked at Harry.

"You need to talk to Hagrid, get him to let you see the dragons. They have already sworn their loyalty to me and their word is true. They will help you.

"The issue is they have a sense of honor and order. You will need to talk to them before the tournament or they will feel they have to obey the rules or edict that they received first.

"And I will be going to this ball."

She sat back in her seat when she finished talking, as if there was no arguing with her decision. Harry just looked at her and then to Sirius, Sirius shrugged and Evervine smiled.

"If you are going Marcel and I are going as well."

Marcel instantly flushed red.

"You want to go to a dance with me?" Evervine just looked at him and shrugged, both Hazel and Hermione rolled their eyes.

Remus came and sat on the other side of Hazel. "I needed to thank you." She stopped everything she was doing and listened. "If it weren't for you my Loboism would still be out of control." He scoffed. "If it weren't for you I wouldn't even know I had such a thing. Now look at me." His left arm extended, grew muscular, and fur burst forth like some odd explosion. They all heard his bones cracking and tendons stretching throughout the entire process. Hazel nodded with a smile as the formation stopped and he was stretching and flexing his fingers.

She could see his aura swirling like a tornado and the different aspects of who he was no smoothly comingling. He was beginning to accept himself.

Evervine was up and watching closely. She turned to Hazel. "An SSS-Transfiguration but with a cursed element." Hazel nodded and looked at Remus.

"For Tan Dimension any shape shifting is Transfiguration at some level or another. I think that is why Tan is seen as extremely crazy to our dimension."

Remus nodded and his arm began to revert back to its human state.

Evervine nodded. "It is really due to the rules of the dimension, the natural laws, that dictate what is right and what is wrong."

Marcel frowned. "Our dimension is seen as crazy!?" Marcel's incredulous voice made Hazel instantly regret her comment. She quickly looked to Harry and changed the subject.

"Can I put a [Thought-Sight] incantation on you? I want to make sure I can get to you essentially instantaneously."

Harry looked at his sister stunned. She already did so much for him and she continually did more and more.

Evervine sucked her teeth and Hermione spoke. "Just do it Hazel, he won't find his voice until tomorrow."

"Hey!"

Sirius and Evervine laughed, as Harry frowned.

"Come on. I am an underage witch here in En."

Both Evervine and Marcel rolled their eyes as Harry and Hazel seamlessly phased onto the dreamscape. They heard Sirius' echoing voice declare, "I wanted to see the incantation." They both laughed.

Hazel took out both her wands, she closed her eyes and held each wand out on an outstretched palm. The wands began teetering back and forth, as if they were being weighed, they slowly stopped and rose into the air.

The black wands rose the highest and Hazel put her white wand away. She looked to Harry with a smile.

"Ready?" He nodded and her eyes turned a deep blood red. Her voice was deep and ethereal.

"A thought, placed. Sight made, senses touched. We have sight on thought, a soft touch. We have thought dipped in sight, the unknown brought to light, our spirits bind tight."

Her wand had moved fluidly the entire time and when she stopped talking it stopped moving. A wide thread of light bloomed from it and dove into each of them.

Harry looked down as he felt a connection grow and a focus enhance. He narrowed his eyes as the world sharpened somehow, their connection deepening and growing.

"Okay. Give it two or three seconds to settle. I don't want the Ministry of Magic sensing as a new incantation and giving me another citation. One more and I will need to go before the tribunal again."

Harry's jaw dropped. "Again?!"

Hazel shrugged. "When I was younger I truly didn't understand. I was doing incantations in Tan but needed to stop here.

"I thought it was an odd game. Can you blame me, I had Shylah perched on my shoulder then as well."

Sirius, Remus, and Tonks were waiting for them when they returned.

"Now explain Nagini? Can we use her, in some way, to our benefit."

"I really doubt it. I need to think about it first. I will need to understand her and I don't. But the fact that she came to me unbidden, and she hid herself from Voldomort means something.

"I will ask Shylah. She knows several Hellfire Demons. One of them will know the truth."

Sirius nodded. "It makes sense to want to know for sure. We are jumping too fast." He looked to Harry. "See if you can see the dragons before the tournament and keep us informed every step of the way. There is someone close to Dumbledore involved in all of this, we need to keep that in mind."

He looked to Hazel, smiled big, then picked her up and swung her around the room. Everyone smiled at her deadpan expression. He put her down and smiled into her eyes. She shook her head.

"You truly are a child Uncle Sirius."

His smile broadened. "I have to make sure that you stay happy somehow."

She pursed her lips.

'Shylah. A Hellfire Demon, named Nagini, spoke to me. Find out if what she said was true.'

A slow melodious song flowed through the house and everyone turned to Hazel as one.

"She said she will find out if Nagini can be trusted."
