"Something tells me this Gate raid didn't go exactly to plan."
Jason scoffed, and Gina let out a small sigh once Cersai said this, and it was Gina who spoke up first.
"We were ambushed inside the Gate by the Bengari. You know about them, don't you?"
Cersai's eyes widened slightly, and he nodded. The Bengari were the race that had been on the short list to become the leaders of this domain twice already, so they were very popular. But from what Cersai had heard from the other world visitors, the Bengari were a very powerful race of warriors who had taken down many other worlds during the Period of Lawlessness! If the Bengari were really the ones that attacked, then it was a miracle that George was the only casualty! Cersai asked Jason if this was related to the Machina attack from a few weeks ago, and Jason nodded.
