Gabriel raised his head, just in time to see a familiar figure hurrying toward him from the other end of the road.
Bunny!
The moment he recognized her, Gabriel hurried forward to meet her.
"How's the camp?"
Bunny had wanted to say quite a few things, but when she saw his cold blue eyes, she quickly suppressed her emotions.
"Sir Broken! You already know?"
"I saw the news on the road."
Gabriel went straight to the point.
"How many casualties? Where's Sarah?"
Bunny's expression changed.
Gabriel's heart sank. "Tell me."
"The camp survived." Bunny took a deep breath. "But most of the western wall was destroyed, and several of the outer outposts suffered heavy damage. Many of the players defending the camp died during the battle, and quite a few people were wounded."
She paused.
"If Scarlet hadn't arrived in time, I'm afraid the entire camp would have been wiped out."
"What about Sarah?" Gabriel asked again.
This time, Bunny fell silent.
