"You're faster than before," Henry growled, his breathing already heavier than he wanted it to be. "That skill… it doesn't just move you underground, does it?"
Gabriel did not answer. He adjusted his footing and advanced again, his presence pressing forward relentlessly, giving Henry no time to think and no time to reset.
Henry clicked his tongue and stomped the ground again, activating another skill as the veins of gold on his armor pulsed brighter. He thrust forward in rapid succession, each strike aimed at a different point on Gabriel's body, chest, shoulder, thigh, neck, forcing him to respond rather than attack.
The spear was fast, unnaturally so, boosted by both Henry's equipment and the skill enhancing his movement. To anyone else, it would have looked overwhelming.
Gabriel read it anyway.
