"Good morning, teacher!!"
The babies shouted together, their voices filling the classroom with bright energy.
"Good morning," Alina replied warmly, smiling at each of them. As her gaze shifted back to Dante, she felt that familiar flutter bloom in her stomach again, soft and impossible to ignore.
"Sir… you're here?" she asked, a little surprised.
"Yes," Dante replied calmly. "I wanted to speak to them about the importance of exams, so I came early. That way, I wouldn't disturb you or the students later."
Alina nodded, understanding immediately. "Thank you."
He inclined his head slightly, then stepped away from her desk. "Then I will take my leave."
She watched him walk toward the door, his presence lingering even after he crossed the threshold. The door closed quietly behind him, and only then did the classroom seem to return to its usual rhythm.
Alina glanced at the clock on the wall, then back at the babies, who were already fidgeting in their seats.
