Chapter 1 - Chapter 1 The Boundless Reborn

Karakura Town at 5 AM.

A white-haired teenager stepped out of Kabukichō, stretching with a massive yawn.

"Finally… daily check-in complete."

Kaito adjusted his black sunglasses, a flicker of pale blue gleaming sharply behind the tinted lenses. Three years ago, he had woken up in this universe—the world of Bleach—reborn as Shiba Kaito, a distant relative of the fallen Shiba Clan, which was once one of the Soul Society's Four Great Noble Houses.

Along with his new identity came the Godly Template System, a power that allowed him to inherit the abilities of legendary figures by fusing with their templates. His first draw had been lucky beyond belief—an S-rank template: Gojō Satoru, the strongest sorcerer from Jujutsu Kaisen.

The man was an absolute monster. Born with the Six Eyes, a genetic anomaly that granted him near-omniscient perception, and wielding the Limitless Cursed Technique, Gojō was entirely untouchable in his own world. So much so that his enemies couldn't even kill him—they had to seal him away just to stand a chance.

Now, those legendary powers belonged to Kaito.

A smirk tugged at his lips. Sure, the Bleach universe had its own share of monsters—Yamamoto's Bankai could incinerate existence itself, Aizen's illusions warped reality, and Yhwach's Almighty made the future his personal plaything.

But if he could fully master Gojō's template? He'd stand at the very top alongside them.

A translucent screen flickered into his vision:

[ Host: Shiba Kaito ]

[ Template: Gojō Satoru — Fusion Progress: 17% ]

[ Spirit Points: 9,998 ]

[ Daily Mission: Kabukichō Check-In (Complete) ]

[ Abilities ]

· Limitless: Neutral Infinity (Active — Manual Control)

· Blue (Unlocking — 99%)

· Red (Locked)

· Hollow Purple (Locked)

· Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void (Locked)

Progress. Just 1% more than yesterday.

But back in the Soul Society, it had taken him two agonizing years just to reach 5%. Here in the living world? A mere matter of months.

"Definitely the right call ditching that place," he muttered.

Back then, stuck in the Shin'ō Academy, his growth had been painfully slow. His natural spiritual pressure was average at best, and without the System's intervention, he would have ended up as just another faceless recruit.

But the Six Eyes changed everything.

With them, he saw the world as pure equations—every movement, every spell, and every flicker of energy was laid completely bare. Mastering Zanjutsu, Hohō, Hakuda, and Kidō quickly became effortless. By graduation, he was entirely flawless in combat.

And then—Infinity unlocked. The ultimate defense.

Anything that approached him slowed down infinitely, never able to actually reach its target. It was like Zeno's Paradox given physical form—an unstoppable force meeting an immovable concept. Gojō used it like breathing, an always-active shield that filtered out threats automatically.

Kaito? He still had to activate it manually, and it actively drained his energy—but he could still spam it hundreds of times a day without issue. Soon, once Blue unlocked, he'd be one step closer to true Limitless mastery.

A grin spread across his face. "Maybe I'll hunt a few Hollows tonight."

The System rewarded him for purifying spirits, and he was tantalizingly close to unlocking Blue—a telekinetic vortex that crushed everything in its path. Besides, it wasn't like he'd get in trouble for it.

After graduating, he had joined the 13th Division, the squad assigned to patrol the living world. Officially, he was stationed in Karakura Town alongside Madarame Shino and Kotetsu Kiyone, the division's Third Seat.

Unofficially? He skipped every single one of their patrols.

His excuse was simple: "Three people in one tiny apartment? Yeah, no thanks."

Kiyone absolutely hated it, but he didn't care. Instead, he had crashed at the Kurosaki household—because why pay rent when you can easily mooch off family?

Kurosaki Isshin—formerly Shiba Isshin—had nearly had a heart attack when Kaito first showed up at his door. The man had been hiding in the living world for years, and Kaito's sudden appearance made him think the Soul Society had finally come to drag him back.

A little light blackmail later—"Let me stay, or I'll report you"—and Kaito secured himself a free room, free food, and free entertainment in the form of annoying a young Ichigo. Life was good.

Glancing up at the sky, dawn wasn't far off. The vibrant neon lights along the streets were flickering out as the local entertainment venues began closing for the night. Yawning again, Kaito leisurely made his way back toward the Kurosaki clinic.

But just as he stepped away from the borders of Kabukichō, a group of mysterious figures suddenly descended upon Karakura Town.
