"What... is that thing!?"
Marineford sat fairly close to the Red Line. Fleet Admiral Sengoku had finally stolen a moment from his endless paperwork to step outside and inspect Marine Headquarters when he spotted the pale blue streak cutting through the heavens. An ominous feeling crept into his chest.
Mary Geoise, World Government Headquarters.
"Something's about to happen. Number Three, go handle it." The flat-capped, curly-haired Elder suddenly opened his eyes from meditation, looking toward the blonde-suited Elder.
"Hm!?"
The blonde Elder paused, but seeing the flat-capped Elder had no intention of explaining further, he didn't press for details. Instead, he stood: "Understood, Number One!" With that, he strode purposefully toward the exit.
Just like the agreement regarding the nine-hundred-year deadline—the blonde Elder knew that what Number One wanted him to know, he would be told. What he wasn't told simply wasn't time yet. The blonde Elder was arguably the most devoted follower of the flat-capped Elder among the Five Elders.
"What exactly is that thing!? In my foresight, its danger level even exceeds Pluton and Poseidon—second only to Uranus! Could it be connected to that Kai Mitarashi again!?"
The flat-capped Elder's brow furrowed deeply as his mind raced.
The blonde Elder had barely stepped through the World Government headquarters' entrance when he saw the pale blue light streak across the horizon. His expression changed drastically—from that pale blue light, he sensed the aura of death! This meant one thing: that pale blue light could threaten his life!
"Is this what Number One meant by 'something happening'!?"
Thinking this, the blonde Elder's figure flashed as he gave chase.
The pale blue light aimed straight for the sea area surrounding Mary Geoise on the Red Line. The light moved incredibly fast, piercing directly into the ocean surface. At first, there seemed to be no reaction.
But mere seconds later... the entire ocean exploded!!!
A tsunami taller than the Red Line itself surged upward! Crashing directly toward the Red Line!!
As the only Elder among the Five who specialized purely in Haki training, the blonde Elder's physical techniques were naturally incredibly formidable. His speed was absolutely the fastest among the five. He quickly reached the Red Line's edge, and what met his eyes was that terrifying towering tsunami!
"Damn it!" The blonde Elder cursed under his breath.
Conqueror's Haki!! Release!!
Facing such a horrifying scene, the blonde Elder didn't dare show the slightest negligence. Haki that had broken through the boundary between human and god instantly erupted forth!
The blonde Elder's Conqueror's Haki directly stirred the heavens—the entire sky darkened! Combined with that terrifying tsunami, it was like witnessing the apocalypse itself!
Emperor's Armament: Haki Fortress Wall!!
The blonde Elder's fists struck out, endless Haki pouring from his knuckles! Instantly, a massive pitch-black wall of Armament Haki rapidly extended outward!
Third-level Armament Haki—Haki separated from the body and given form. Yet in the blonde Elder's hands, he could actually condense a Haki wall several thousand meters high. This showed the blonde Elder's mastery of Haki had reached an astonishing level!
In terms of pure Haki alone, even among the Five Elders, the blonde Elder ranked among the very top!
But even such a Haki fortress appeared somewhat thin compared to the tsunami before him. The massive wave battered the Haki wall, the entire structure seeming on the verge of shattering!
Emperor's Armament: Haki Giant Fists!!
Seeing the situation, the blonde Elder gritted his teeth. Fist shadows overlapped as one hundred-meter-tall Armament Haki iron fists after another struck out, slamming into the towering tsunami!
Each giant fist could scatter a large section of the tsunami. Tens of thousands of Haki fists bombarded outward—their might even more terrifying than the earlier Haki fortress!
Finally, after the double obstruction of the Haki fortress and Haki giant fists, the tsunami's momentum gradually slowed. The blonde Elder condensed another Haki fortress to block the remaining waves' momentum.
"Phew, finally stopped it. If I'd let that tsunami crash into the Red Line, Mary Geoise would've been the first casualty! Where would the World Government's dignity be then!?"
The blonde Elder breathed a sigh of relief, while simultaneously frowning in thought: That tsunami should've been caused by that pale blue light, right!? What the hell was that thing! What kind of power! That terrifying tsunami was just the aftershock—if I'd been hit directly by that pale blue light!?
Reaching this thought, the blonde Elder felt a chill run through his entire body. He didn't dare continue that line of thinking.
Marineford sat very close to the Red Line. If the Red Line was the disaster zone, then Marineford could at least be considered a minor disaster area.
Of course, this "minor" was only relative to the Red Line. In Sengoku and the others' eyes, they'd not only never seen such a terrifying tsunami—in eight hundred years of history, they'd never even heard of such a thing!
A tsunami thousands of meters high bore down!!
"Buddha-Buddha Fruit: Awakening - Super Giant Buddha Form!!"
Sengoku roared, his entire body instantly expanding. A thousand-meter-tall golden Buddha suddenly appeared at Marine Headquarters!

Kizaru, user of the Glint-Glint Fruit, was the fastest to arrive! Reaching Sengoku's side, he asked no questions—just directly unleashed his strongest technique. He wasn't blind—he could see the situation!

"Ice Age!!"
Following Kizaru, Aokiji and Akainu appeared as well!
With all four going all-out, finally, just as the tsunami was about to engulf Marineford, Aokiji's Ice Age froze it solid, then Kizaru's Yasakani Sacred Jewel shattered it to pieces!
