Time passed quietly as she stared at the ceiling, her thoughts drifting in and out.
Silas soon returned with a bowl of warm porridge. After he fed her and she took the medicine, the heaviness in her body eased slightly.
Silas studied her with a grim expression. "Your health deteriorated too fast. Why?"
Ivy shrugged weakly. "Even I don't know."
Silas was about to leave when Ivy suddenly stopped him. "Wait. I think I heard Ember's voice earlier. Something about an antidote."
Silas shook his head helplessly. "She really is loud. Even the hallway isn't safe from her voice."
He took a deep breath and continued, "The antidote for half-zombies is done. Moona and Maxi were injected with it, and the results are quite favorable to us."
The moment Ivy heard that, her eyes lit up despite the fever. "Really?"
From the current progress, it meant she could likely complete the zombie virus antidote within six months to a year.
