Ivy nodded slowly before speaking directly. "I want ownership of two villas in return for providing you both till the apocalypse ends."
Diana's eyes widened in shock.
"How can you say that? That is nothing compared to what you are offering. This apocalypse could last indefinitely."
Ivy shook her head calmly.
"Hm? The apocalypse will end within the next five months anyway. It isn't that long!"
"Five months?" Diana repeated, confusion evident in her voice.
Ivy gestured for them to follow her again. She brought them to witness the antidote.
They saw it with their own eyes. A zombie… returning to human.
By the time Ivy finished explaining everything, both Diana and Tammy stood there, stunned beyond words.
Food. Shelter. Protection. Even a cure.
It felt as if, for the first time since the apocalypse began, humanity could finally see a way forward.
Diana's eyes grew moist as she turned to Ivy. "You are a good child," she said softly. "Heaven will reward you for this."
