Ivy nearly rolled her eyes. Part of her felt guilty.
The other part immediately remembered how much trouble Nanami himself had caused.
"You are really complaining right now?"
Her tone became flat.
Nanami coughed awkwardly. "I am merely stating facts."
Ivy almost laughed despite the situation. His ability to casually shift blame remained impressive.
However, this was not the time for arguments. Taking a deep breath, she forced herself to calm down. "Fine."
Her voice softened. "I will not hold it against you."
Then her expression became serious again. "But tell me."
She clenched her fists. "There must be something we can do."
Her eyes drifted toward the battlefield reports.
People were dying everywhere. Not only within her territory. Across the world.
Entire cities were under attack. Villages were disappearing. Military outposts were being overwhelmed.
Some of the victims were soldiers. Others were ordinary civilians.
