Felix immediately understood the meaning behind her gaze.
If he remained silent, Annie probably wouldn't even give him a chance to explain later.
He let out a long sigh. Then he honestly explained everything from beginning to end.
The more Annie listened, the deeper her frown became.
When he finally finished, she looked at him speechlessly. "I've met plenty of foolish people before."
She shook her head. "But I've never met anyone as foolish as you."
Felix immediately pouted. His expression looked almost wronged. "What else was I supposed to do?"
He sighed helplessly.
"If I hadn't agreed to her request, she would've continued bothering us."
