Elena stood frozen for only a single moment while Yuuta's trembling body continued leaking strands of black aura beneath the old tree. His lips barely moved, yet the broken whisper she had heard moments ago continued echoing inside her little heart.
"Save me..."
Fresh tears rolled down her cheeks as she looked at her father one more time. His body continued trembling violently while the nightmare remained completely invisible to everyone except him. Elena didn't fully understand what was happening, but she knew one thing with absolute certainty.
Papa needed her.
She quickly wiped away the tears covering her face with both tiny hands before taking a deep, shaky breath. Although her little body continued trembling with fear, the memory inside her dragon blood had already shown her what she needed to do.
"The stone..."
She sniffled loudly before clenching her tiny fists.
"Elena has to save Papa."
