Chapter 247 - Chapter 247: Konoha Elder Luffy

The famous Ino–Shika–Chō trio in Konoha Village is the collective name for the Akimichi clan, the Yamanaka clan, and the Nara clan, three ninja clans.

The Nara clan is also one of Konoha's powerful clans with secret inherited ninjutsu. Their clan has generations of mastery over Shadow Imitation Jutsu. They can manipulate and attack enemies through shadows.

Today, the head of the Nara clan, Shikaku Nara, is known as a genius strategist of Konoha. Even the old Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi often asks for Shikaku Nara's opinions and suggestions.

The Akimichi, Nara, and Yamanaka clans, three ninja clans, had already formed a bond and cooperated even before the formation of Konoha Village. Later, they all joined Konoha Village together. The combat power they displayed when these three clans united on the battlefield was absolutely not inferior to that of a small country.

Besides the Ino–Shika–Chō trio, there's also the head of the Hyūga clan. This important gathering in Konoha Village also brought many other powerful presences that had previously remained hidden.

They were also the backbone of Konoha. However, because they were either good at hiding or appeared too ordinary, they ended up not attracting much attention from others. This even included enemies on the battlefield.

And this could very likely create opportunities for them to turn the tide of battle on the battlefield. For example, the head of the Aburame clan, Shino Aburame, and the head of the Inuzuka clan, Tsume Inuzuka, etc.

The Aburame clan is a ninja clan that can manipulate tiny flying insects. Almost all of their ninjutsu relies on insects. Because extremely tiny flying insects can enter crevices that are difficult for humans to enter, they can also play a considerable role when fighting enemies.

Enemies often haven't even figured out who their opponent is before they've already been silently taken care of under the cover of these flying insects! After all, these flying insects are not simply just insects with teeth and claws. They also carry various bacteria and viruses on their tiny bodies!

However, the Aburame clan usually carries these tiny insects on their bodies. That's right, they raise them close to their skin under their loose clothing. It's hard to imagine how their daily lives are conducted, but they indeed raise insects like this.

One can only say that in the ninja world, strange things are not uncommon. To gain powerful combat abilities, various ninja clans in the past warring eras bloomed like a hundred flowers, emerging endlessly. The Aburame clan, from a certain perspective, can't even be considered the strangest...

As for the Inuzuka clan, they might be even more important in Konoha Village. Why? Because the Inuzuka clan are the breeders of almost all ninja dogs in Konoha. The Inuzuka clan has been raising various ninja dogs for Konoha Village for generations. These ninja dogs, raised by them, can help ninjas quickly scout enemy movements.

Sometimes, they can also cooperate to perform ninjutsu together. Whether it's searching for enemies or restraining enemies, they have very outstanding effects. At least for ninjas, the importance of ninja dogs is quite great; they are indispensable battle partners in missions!

And the Inuzuka clan, which almost provides the entire Konoha Village with these elite-trained ninja dogs, their importance to the family is unimaginable.

However, although their function is very important, they are not valued by outsiders. After all, what kind of achievement can one get from raising cats and dogs all day? But in fact, the Inuzuka clan's actual combat ability is not inferior to that of Konoha Village's other major ninja clans.

Members of the Inuzuka clan possess both human rationality and intelligence, as well as the keen senses and stubbornness of beasts! Moreover, they can fuse these two points quite well and put them into battle! The ninjutsu inherited by their family for generations, such as "Pseudo-Beast Ninjutsu" and "Method," can prove it.

Furthermore, the ninja dogs specially trained by the Inuzuka clan, which grow up alongside their family members, can even learn some ninjutsu and greatly assist in battles! The ninjutsu they learn and train matches the ninja dogs perfectly.

What they learn and cultivate is "Pseudo-Bejutsu." In the tense battles of critical situations, Inuzuka clan ninjas can even "fuse" with the ninja dogs they've raised since childhood and risked their lives for! They transform into gigantic beasts, unleashing unimaginable combat power!

...

There are still quite a few powerful ninja clans in Konoha. Luffy probably only listened to these few, and then became sleepy. He didn't even bother to keep up with the ninja's opening introductions... However, the Third Hokage of Konoha, Hiruzen Sarutobi, didn't seem to mind. He continued to calmly push the meeting forward.

"This Mr. Luffy, I believe you've all met him before."

The old Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, had already discovered Luffy when he often observed the battle between Luffy and Danzo in secret. Besides him, other famous ninja clans in Konoha Village had also sent people to gather information.

They also wanted to know exactly how capable this outsider named Luffy was. And to figure out how to get along with him in the future. After all, in this ninja world, strength is also the main source of influence.

"...However, even if it's you, since everyone has a certain understanding of Mr. Luffy, I should introduce him again."

Hiruzen Sarutobi's understanding of Luffy was actually not much more than that of the several heads of Konoha's major ninja clans present. However, he was the first batch of ninjas to come into contact with Luffy, besides Kakashi and Sasuke.

Combining what he had seen before, plus the information he got from Luffy, as well as Kakashi, and even Sasuke's recollections of the scene when Luffy first appeared before them, the old Hokage Hiruzen Sarutobi generally explained Luffy's background.

"...That's how it is. From now on, Mr. Luffy will be an elder of our Konoha Village. I hope everyone (will) actively cooperate and support him in all aspects."

The Hokage's announcement was something several clan heads had not expected. Everyone looked at each other. Besides these major clan heads, Konoha actually had other high-ranking officials.

However, those people were not good at fighting; they were mostly involved in internal affairs. These Konoha elders also held a considerable position in the village. However, they were all quite old.

It was precisely by utilizing the wisdom accumulated over their years that they became elders of Konoha Village, continuing to provide support and assistance to the village.

But now, the Hokage actually decided to make Luffy, about whom he still didn't know much, an elder of Konoha Village? Wouldn't this be a bit too rushed?

Hiashi Hyūga, the head of the Hyūga clan, merely glanced at the Hokage, then at Luffy, and then lowered his Byakugan eyes without speaking.
