Natsuki also stood up, and in one smooth motion pulled Tenten into his arms and kissed her.
The others, seeing this, silently turned their heads away, not wanting to be force-fed dog food.
"Is your chakra battery fully charged?" Natsuki asked.
"Full. It hasn't been that busy these last few days, so I charged every battery to max. It's more than enough for me to go on a rampage." Tenten replied smugly.
"Be careful."
"Don't worry, I won't get careless."
"Mm. Then get out there and earn yourself the title of legendary ninja tools master."
Tenten nodded, locked onto Kakashi's position, and in a flash she was gone. The next second, she appeared right behind Kakashi.
Kakashi jumped, then turned around. Seeing a familiar face, he was overjoyed. "Tenten, you're here!"
Tenten nodded, her gaze sweeping across the former Seven Ninja Swordsmen. She paid particular attention to their weapons and recognized them immediately. After all, she had spent quite a bit of money back then collecting information on these blades.
Then, the brightest thought surfaced in her mind.
As a future legendary ninja tools master, of course she was going to set her sights on ninja tools. Once she opened her own shop, she could not be lacking in top-quality merchandise, so she had to seize all of these swords. Even if someone from the Hidden Mist wanted them back in the future, they would have to pay up.
"Heh heh, Kakashi-sensei, leave all of these people to me. Their swords are all mine too!"
As she spoke, she scattered a spread of formula-marked kunai, then took out the Red Gourd, the Golden Canopy Rope, and the Seven Star Sword. In the next instant, she used Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) to flash across the battlefield, appearing near Kushimaru and striking him with the Golden Canopy Rope. She then instantly slipped away again, appearing behind Jinpachi and snapping the rope across him as well.
With flashes of Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) and lashes of the Golden Canopy Rope, she tagged every Edo Tensei body once in the blink of an eye.
They were all still a bit dazed, not understanding what the point of these seemingly meaningless attacks was. One of the chattier ones could not help it and opened his mouth, letting his usual "word-spirit" slip out.
Tenten once again made a circuit with Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God), using the Seven Star Sword to neatly sever every single word-spirit and then flashing back to Kakashi's side. Immediately afterward, all of those verbal curses were sucked into the Red Gourd and sealed away.
The cursed words also all appeared on the blade of the Seven Star Sword.
Tenten flipped the Seven Star Sword over so the others could not see.
Jinpachi stared at Tenten with a cold sneer. "I don't know what you're doing, but flitting around like a fly really annoys me. Let me use the Explosion Sword: Shibuki to blow you to… huh? Not good!"
Cursed phrase: Explosion Sword: Shibuki!
Jinpachi was immediately sucked into the Red Gourd.
The others were all stunned by this, then began blurting out confused questions. Quite a few accidentally let their usual catchphrases slip, which happened to match the cursed words, and they were all sucked into the Red Gourd one after another.
"Whew! Sucking in that many people at once really does burn through chakra!"
Tenten grumbled in displeasure, but still quickly stowed the three swords Explosion Sword: Shibuki, Longsword: Nuibari, and Blunt Blade: Kabutowari into her own scroll.
"Hehe, hehe, mine, mine, they're all mine!"
The corners of Tenten's mouth were practically reaching her ears. She had just collected three excellent ninja tools in one go. How could she not be ecstatic?
In the future, when she took over her father's ninja tools shop, she would display all these fine blades. She did not even have to sell them, just line them up to look pretty. The satisfaction of that was going to be unreal.
Of course, the very best of all would be the Six Paths ninja tools. Those would be the shop's crowning treasures.
Their family's ninja tools shop was sure to have booming business!
"Alright, stop laughing, your drool is about to drip out," Kakashi reminded.
"What drool?!" Tenten wiped at the corner of her mouth, but she did rein herself in a little.
"Tenten, that was brilliant!" Guy-sensei and Lee gave her a thumbs-up.
The others also spoke up in turn:
"Tenten is amazing. As expected of someone who can wield the Six Paths ninja tools, she really helped us a ton!"
"Hahaha! I thought this was going to be a grueling battle, but Tenten showed up and solved everything. This feels just too good!"
"Yeah, yeah! With the Edo Tensei squad gone, those White Zetsu are going to get slaughtered. Time to show those disgusting white things what we can do!"
With the enemy's Edo Tensei strike team wiped out, the Allied Forces' morale shot up, and their top-tier fighters were freed. They charged into the White Zetsu army like tigers into a flock of sheep.
In no time at all, the White Zetsu horde was beaten back again and again, suffering heavy losses, and the Third Division's victory was only a matter of time.
Kakashi smiled. "Tenten, this is all thanks to you. I won't waste words on thanks. You probably still have to support other fronts, so I won't keep you. Just be careful."
"Mm. Kakashi-sensei, Guy-sensei, Lee, you all be careful too."
As she spoke, Tenten locked onto Darui's position and flashed away.
Each division commander was carrying formula-marked kunai from her and Natsuki, making it convenient for the two of them to use Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) to provide support. Right now was exactly the time for them to display overwhelming might.
"Tenten really is incredible," Lee said with open envy.
"Hahaha! As expected of my disciple! And as expected of our comrade!" Guy-sensei's bright white teeth flashed.
It would probably be more accurate to say, "as expected of Natsuki's girlfriend."
Kakashi silently added that line in his heart. He knew that Tenten's growth could not be separated from Natsuki's influence, but Tenten's own hard work was just as important, so there were some things he chose not to say out loud.
On the First Division's side, the main battlefield was along the coast.
The White Zetsu were relatively easy to handle; it was the Edo Tensei enemies who were hard to deal with.
However, Asuma's team was stationed here, and with Shikamaru's sharp mind helping, Captain Darui quickly laid out their battle plan. Before long, they had Dan and Hizashi restrained inside a Four Violet Flames Formation.
Even so, actually capturing them was no easy task.
At that moment, Tenten arrived, her smile dazzling. "Everyone, do you need the help of a legendary ninja tools master?"
Hearing that, Darui, Asuma, Shikamaru, Choji, and Ino all broke into smiles as well. This problem had just stopped being a problem.
With Tenten on the move, the number of Edo Tensei enemies on the battlefield plummeted rapidly.
In the rear, when Madara received the report, he only looked dismissive. "Six Paths ninja tools? Just some boring toys."
He truly did not think much of the Six Paths ninja tools. In the original events, once he had become Six Paths Madara, he had literally spat the tools out of his body, which in turn handed a bit of "welfare" to White Zetsu.
But just because he looked down on them did not mean they were useless.
In reality, the three-piece set Tenten carried had already become a nightmare for the Edo Tensei bodies.
Even someone like Madara, if he was careless, could be sealed into the Red Gourd.
Kabuto offered a reminder. "That girl named Tenten is actually Natsuki's girlfriend. Her Hiraishin (Flying Thunder God) was taught by Natsuki, and she's skilled at using all kinds of ninja tools. Her strength is far from ordinary. In fact, thanks to how active she is on the battlefield, the number of our Edo Tensei bodies is dropping rapidly, and the Alliance is gaining a massive edge."
"Oh? She's Natsuki's girlfriend? No wonder she has that level of ability."
Madara immediately changed his tune. He had a genuine appreciation for Natsuki, and by extension he could not help giving Tenten his approval as well.
