They were having their meal on the balcony. Like a child, Yvonne was fighting with Kayla over the meatballs.
Seeing that her meatball was about to be taken away, Kayla complained, "Godmother, you've eaten quite a bit. This one is mine."
Yvonne deliberately popped the meatball into her mouth.
"Hmm... This meatball is so tender and juicy. It's heavenly!" she commented as she chewed.
Kayla rolled her eyes and said, "Godmother, you're so childish. You weren't like this before."
Yvonne sighed, held on to Shawn's arm, and said, "Well, there's nothing I can do about it, Kayla. After all, I'm lucky to have found a husband who loves and dotes on me. You're still young, so you won't understand the feeling of having a backer for now."
"Godmother, Mommy has Daddy as her backer too. But she isn't as arrogant as you are."
