Upon entering the room, Kayla pouted, looking displeased.
"So you're unhappy now? Believe me or not, I'll punish you for sneaking out to see Darcy Campbell," Zoey warned
Kayla immediately stopped pouting and wrapped her arms around Zoey's waist, saying, "Don't be angry, Mommy. Didn't I apologize and promise that I won't do it again?"
Stumped, Zoey did not know what to do with her. "How many times do I have to tell you to make you remember about your injury?"
"Mommy, I remember. When we went out, Snowy carried me. When we returned, Mister carried me. So I didn't walk at all," Kayla defended herself.
"So you're in the right now, huh?"
"Heh. I'm wrong. I won't do it again."
She apologized so sincerely that Zoey could not get mad at her.
"Kayden, don't do things like this with Kayla anymore." Zoey turned to Kayden. "She doesn't know any better, but you do. If you follow her again, I'll get angry."
