"You..." Yvonne pinched Zoey's cheek. "You have been crying a lot since you got pregnant."
Yvonne understood Zoey's feelings. She had lost her family and gone through a lot to give birth to the twins. She managed to return only after seven years. It was natural for Zoey to feel vindicated when she saw Xavier getting what he deserved.
"Yvonne, will my father ever forgive me after the Lynch and Lewis families got what they deserved?" Zoey asked.
Zoey was always worried that Christopher would not forgive her.
"Silly, Christopher never blamed you." Yvonne held onto Zoey's hands. "You are his only daughter. He kicked you out when he thought you played around and got yourself pregnant. If you had apologized, he would have forgiven you. I am sure Christopher always had your best interests at heart."
Zoey nodded.
"Zoey, let's get some of my precious wine and visit him tomorrow. I never had the chance to meet him." Zoey was startled when she heard Alan's voice.
