As soon as he walked into the room, Alan went straight to the point. "Clement, you should let go of your feelings for Zoey."
Clement's expression stiffened. He stared at Alan before refusing straight out, "Old man, I'm not giving up."
"You oblivious fool, why won't you listen to me? Zoey is happily married to Leo, so why are you meddling uselessly? Aren't you afraid that Zoey will hate you because you're interfering too much?"
Alan could not believe that Clement was so foolish.
"Old man, what if she only married Leo so that Kayden and Kayla could have a father?"
Clement retorted, "Anyway, I wouldn't give up until I'm completely certain that she is happy with Leo."
He had loved Zoey for so many years. If it was this easy to let her go, he would have been able to accept the pursuits of other women.

"Old man, stop nagging. I'm determined to make Zoey mine. I'll let her know that I'm a better fit for her than Leo."
