Zoey and Stacey bowed their heads before Christopher's grave.
"Dad, I've brought Stacey to see you." Zoey gazed at Christopher's gentle expression on the tombstone. Tears welled up in her eyes. "It must be hard for you to accept the truth when I suddenly told you that Stacey and I were switched at birth. But that's the reality. Just take it that you have another daughter now."
Zoey held back her tears and went on, "Just look how much Stacey looks like you and Mom. Unlike me, who looks nothing like the both of you, everyone can easily tell that Stacey is your daughter if you three were to go on a walk together."
That was perhaps the only regret in her life.
Ever since she was young, she had heard many gossips about how she did not look like the Fuller couple. However, every time Christopher heard that, he would reply to the others in a gentle tone, explaining that Zoey inherited her looks from her great-grandfather.
