The nurse asked worriedly, "What's wrong, Dr. Fuller?"
Zoey snapped back to reality and answered, "I'm fine."
When she promptly walked to the hospital's front door, she saw Myles and Dorothy.
At that, she furrowed her eyebrows, disgust fleeting across her face.
She didn't want to see either of them when Yvonne might be seriously injured.
"Ms. Fuller, could we talk to you?" Dorothy approached Zoey and went straight to the point.
"I'm sorry, Old Mrs. Miller. I'm quite busy with my job. You two should return if there's nothing else." Zoey glanced at her dismissively.
Dorothy's face scrunched up in disappointment. "Don't forget that I'm your grandmother, Ms. Fuller," she remarked, trying to coerce Zoey into listening to her.
Zoey chuckled, but her eyes remained cold. "Old Mrs. Miller, I remember that you mentioned you only have one granddaughter, and you made it very clear that it wasn't me."
