Zoey smiled sweetly and coaxed, "Mr. Yancey, I promise I'll listen to you from now on. If I make the same mistake again, I'll be at your mercy, okay?"
Her words brightened his mood.
Kayla and Amanda got out of the swimming pool. Amanda interrupted the couple and said, "Mr. Yancey, don't you think you're too strict with Mrs. Yancey? If you overdo it, she might get upset with you."
After Leo heard what Amanda said, he glared at her. She felt her heart pounding in her chest uncontrollably because the look on his face scared her to death.
"Mr. Yancey, I shouldn't have said that. Pretend what I've said was just a fart, and the fart drifted away in the wind."
Amanda gave Leo an apologetic smile shortly afterward. "You'd better watch your words," Leo said in a cold voice. Amanda shrugged her shoulders and smiled.
