Chapter 252 - Chapter 252: Comic Con · Part Three

With those mesmerizing dance moves, more and more people gathered around the blonde girl, their bodies involuntarily swaying to the rhythm.

Wild! Too wild!

Seeing this, a spark ignited in Boothill's heart. "When has Boothill ever not wanted to be a great dancer?"

Without looking back, he strode up to the blonde girl. "Hey, golden-haired kid, wanna have a dance-off?"

The blonde girl stopped swaying. "Yee-haw, a dance? I'm totally down for that!!!"

"Name's Boothill, pleasure to meet ya."

"Burnice! You ready?" Burnice opened her mouth wide, eyeing Boothill sideways.

The next moment, Boothill's body moved like a robot, every beat, every motion so fluid, as if Boothill himself was a robot.

Burnice nodded, unable to hold back her own moves. "Let's do an hour of Despair Bartender!!!"

"Family, please spam the chat and hit that follow button! Right now, I'm streaming with Sushang!"

Guinaifen had started a live stream on her phone, sharing the comic con excitement with her fans. "Family, got any fun requests or ideas? Tell me! It's comic con, so we gotta have a blast!"

The chat started rolling. [Little Gui, you've been live for like ten minutes, why haven't we seen a single cosplayer of you?!]

"Ouch, that hurts, old pal." Guinaifen nearly broke down at the comment.

She scanned the area, looking for something fun to shift her audience's attention.

Suddenly, an orange figure pushing a wheelchair zoomed past her. "Sushang, what was that? It went whoosh and disappeared!"

"Huh~" Sushang yawned. "Dunno, didn't see it clearly."

"Sushang, you gotta perk up! We're live here! Don't let Qingque's bad habits rub off on you. Is the world this crazy now?"

Distracted by the moment, Guinaifen spotted a cosplayer ahead, instantly sparking her interest. "Family, look! There's someone cosplaying Gojo Satoru up there!"

Guinaifen, phone in hand, rushed over to the Gojo cosplayer. "Hey, friend, your cosplay is so on point!"

The Gojo cosplayer nodded slightly at the camera. "Thanks, thanks."

"Oh, oh, right!" Guinaifen showed the phone screen to the Gojo cosplayer. "The chat wants to see you perform, perform, uh, what's it called? Oh, right!"

"Perform getting cut in half, how to become 2.5-jo Satoru!"

"Uh… nah, I can't do that."

"No worries, I got this!" Guinaifen clapped her hands.

Sushang appeared, pushing a cart loaded with a weapon rack full of props—everything from a hammer for breaking stones on chests to plasterboards, sword-swallowing tools, darts, and even props for dismemberment.

"Look at this! We've got a hammer for smashing stones, plasterboards, sword-swallowing props, darts, and stuff for a dismemberment act!"

Guinaifen raised an eyebrow. "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing. So, brave soul, wanna join us for this? It's super chill!"

The Gojo cosplayer suddenly shouted, pointing behind Guinaifen. "Whoa, look! Someone's cosplaying you over there! It's spot-on!"

"Really? Where? Where?" Guinaifen and Sushang immediately turned to look in the direction the Gojo cosplayer pointed.

After a few seconds of staring, Guinaifen frowned. "I don't see anything!"

When they turned back, Oops! They'd fallen for a classic distraction, and the cosplayer was long gone.

"Ugh, so boring!" Guinaifen looked at Sushang helplessly. "Sushang, my follower count's been growing so slowly lately. I'm so stressed!"

"That's normal," Sushang said, taking Guinaifen's hand. "When Foxian Chronicles first aired, your followers shot up, right? Now the hype's just cooling down."

"Little Gui, I'll always be your most loyal fan! Keep it up!"

"It's fan, not noodle."

"Guinaifen, what's wrong?" Firefly, wearing a white skirt, appeared before her.

Guinaifen's eyes lit up. "Firefly, what're you doing here?"

"I was bored, so I came to check things out. Su Chen gave me some time off. What're you up to?"

"I'm streaming. Wanna try splitting a brick with your bare hands?"

Sushang leaned in close to Guinaifen's ear. "Check the chat quick!"

Guinaifen glanced at her phone, and somehow, the stream's popularity had skyrocketed.

[Whoa! Who's that gray-haired girl?]

[Guinaifen, is that your bestie? How's she so cute?]

[She's really pretty. I love her headband.]

[…]

"She's part of miHoYo too! When Season 4 starts, make sure to tune in!" Guinaifen saw Firefly and felt like she'd cracked the code to boosting her stream.

"Firefly, come on, let's explore the comic con together!"

"Huh? Me?" Firefly hesitated for a few seconds. "Alright…"

As they turned to leave, a voice echoed in Guinaifen's ears. "Hi♪ Miss Guinevere, is that you♪?"

"Huh!" Guinaifen froze, the familiar voice ringing a bell.

The next moment, she whipped around, realizing something. A pink-haired girl was waving at her.

"You're—you're! You're Miss Pink Fairy?!"

"Didn't expect Miss Guinevere to remember me♪!" Elysia smiled lightly. "You're even cuter in person than on screen♪!"

"No way, no way," Guinaifen said modestly, though her heart swelled with the compliment. "By the way, Miss Pink Fairy, why're you at Interastral City?"

"Because I've always been a diehard fan of the Honkai: Star Rail web drama♪!" Elysia raised Eden's hand high. "This is Eden, my dear Eden♪!"

Guinaifen, as if recalling something, introduced the two beside her. "This is Sushang, Interastral City's security officer and the actress who plays Sushang in the web drama."

Then she pointed to Firefly. "This is Firefly. I can't reveal her identity just yet, but she's super important to all of miHoYo."

Elysia looked at Firefly, slowly stepping closer. "How can there be such a cute girl♪? But don't worry, I'm a pretty cute girl myself♪! I'm not afraid of you stealing the spotlight, so let's be friends♪!"

Eden looked at Elysia with a fond smile. "Congrats, Ellie! You've made another friend."

Meanwhile, Sushang, half-lidded eyes watching the scene, pulled out her phone and snapped a photo, capturing the moment Elysia tightly held Firefly's hands.

She sent the photo to Su Chen.

Soon, Su Chen replied with a single message: "OK, invite them for coffee. Tell them I'll build them a paradise."
