Sylvia made her decision in less than a minute, and the reason was simple: she had been bored for far too long.
"I'm going north," she said, making Zhaoyue, sitting beside her, nearly drop the skewer she had just picked up.
"Now? Sylvia, the Council Guard Legion will arrive in three days!"
"I know." Sylvia stood and brushed the dust from her dress. "The round trip takes two days at most if Sol doesn't complain. If he complains, three."
'I won't complain,' Sol answered quickly from under the cloth umbrella. The golden cat was already standing on all four legs, tail upright, eyes staring north without blinking. The laziness that had clung to him for four days seemed to peel away in an instant. 'This concerns the honor of the sacred dragons. If a kinsman needs help, I can't stay idle.'
'Yesterday you also said sleeping under that umbrella concerned honor,' Noir quipped from the shadow.
'That's different!'
