Kyle threw a glance at Fox. "You better not show yourself in front of me, but that decision might not be up to you."
Fox looked back. "You better not show yourself in front of the actual people in charge, but that decision might not be up to you. As far as I can see, you're more likely to die than me."
"We'll see," Kyle replied with a cold voice.
Naturally, Fox wasn't allowed to publicize Kyle's identity since he was very important to her new owner. If she even attempted to talk about him, she would die.
Next, Fox looked at Swamp Dragon for a moment before looking away. "I'm not sure if my words have any weight to you, but I hope that you can live a long life."
"All words have weight," Swamp Dragon answered.
A complicated expression appeared on Fox's face. Swamp Dragon had tried to kill her, but he had also given her a way out. She wasn't sure if she liked or hated him.
