Chapter 112 - A person having fun

A person sat alone in a dark room, fidgeting with his hands. He had gray hair and glasses resting between his eyes. A dark shadow bubbled nearby, seething with miasma. He smiled faintly as he stared into the darkness of the room.

A shadowy figure with glowing purple eyes smiled back at him.

"Are you still the person I made a deal with, Lemon Boy?"

His face was shrouded in miasma as his arms and legs began to melt, suffocating him. Yet he smiled, enduring the pain, waiting for the being to stop. The shadowed figure straightened and released the miasma that filled the room, allowing him to finally speak.

"Of course not… I've changed. But my desire is still the same."

He was unafraid as he stared at the very epitome of death itself. His heart carved and screamed for release.

"The deal is still the same. Give me power—my own personal environment," he said with a strained smile. "A place where I can do things fully, the way I want."

Then he looked at the devil.

"And if not… I'll stop you."

The shadowed figure grew gigantic, filling the entire room.

"Oh, what a juxtaposition is this?" he laughed maniacally. "You, the one who sought a deal with me… the one who claims you'll stop me?"

As long as I can be free… where I have power… where I can be rich… where I can find peace… I'll deal with the devil himself.

The monster smiled as spirals of death swirled around him.

"Alright… the contract is still valid."

The creature grew larger as miasma spread through the entire town, plunging everything into darkness.

"The revolution has begun."

As the surroundings faded, the man's hair turned even grayer. His face aged rapidly. He huffed, then smiled faintly to himself.

"If at least one version of myself is happy… then I'm happy."

He flicked his fingers, and little humanoid figures in dark purple robes approached. Their jewel-like eyes shimmered as they carried a pulsating purple cube.

The man, holding a cane, stood up.

"This unknown thing again…"

One of the small humanoids, its voice blank and robotic, replied,

"A completely different existence in our world."

The man's eyes widened as he remembered Adam.

"I guess you'll have to do it yourself… destroy the very being that opposes your plan."

He flicked his finger again. Every shadow in the surroundings opened its eyes, smiling—watching everyone and reporting back to the gray-haired man.

"I know," he said quietly.

"I just need to stop him."

A person slid down a pole, detonating the land with nuclear explosions, desecrating everything. It was Piercebox—making a name for himself—as the relic of the Dream Catcher glowed in his hand.

Adam's face was grim, torn between action and hesitation, seriously considering stopping him. Massive atomic bands of fire and lightning-like explosions covered the land as an army advanced across the scorched ground.

"What the heck am I doing?" Adam muttered.

Piercebox laughed.

"You want to find Manori, right? Then we just have to turn this world upside down to find someone that hard to find."

He winked at me, holding an artifact while his goggles tracked every living thing that moved. The living creatures of piercebox and his battleship at the air, and thousands of golden fish—each the size of a horse—flew across the sky, devouring and spitting out creatures into the ship's trunk.

Around us, the voices of people drinking coffee mixed and eating food wondering why they are trapped... With the cries of animals, bunnies, and monsters assigned to various areas. Piercebox smirked.

"I call it a transactional exchange."

Mountains were obliterated. Hills and rivers disintegrated in explosions. Landscapes flattened. Toxins and chemicals poured into the bowels of the earth, staining it dark red and black—biologically killing it.

The sign of Dowell appeared on the horizon. Golems, humans, monsters, and creatures all stared as a man stood atop a massive warship, smirking. Behind him, countless battleships and thousands of flying creatures filled the sky—glowing fish lighting up the darkness.

Explosions and devastation followed him until everything halted before reaching Dowell. A loudspeaker echoed across the land.

"Surrender! And be conquered!"

Piercebox coughed repeatedly after saying it.

"Ehem… that's what I said."

Fireworks, spears, guns, and barrels of fire were launched at us. Hundreds of soldiers hurled ropes and spears upward, but we were too high off the ground. Animals and colossal behemoths crashed down, charging through cities and dragging every living creature into the ships.

Meanwhile, the man with gray hair stood atop a clock tower, staring at the chaos below. He sighed softly, flicked his fingers, and miasma and darkness enveloped Dowell.

"I guess you'll be trapped here forever, Adam."...

Piercebox was looking through his scrolls of spell thinking of what to activate till he sees the environment turning dark, "What is that?"

As he realise and Adam looked toward the Sky with Toho and Kiso...

The land was warping and covering the whole land... Any living creature died when it got touched, as Piercebox looks as he clench his teeth... "Dammit! Those people wont go to heaven at this rate. What even is that??"

As he jumps toward the ground... Picking a scroll of feather falling in his legs.

Adam: "Wait...!" Dammit im the person who is the person... Who needs to do something... Not you!?

Rehan: [Adam... Calm down. You dont have to carry the burden all by yourself]

Toho and Kiso were looking at the Two who just jumped from the air..

Kiso: "Uhmm?..."

Toho: "Ugh duck it!" Grabbing Kiso hair as he was annoyed and was about to jumped before Kiso pulled her...

Kiso: "Are you fricking crazy?!... We can help... But not be that stupid were not immortals" As they both runned inside the Battleship and control it and flies down toward the Two people...

As they both jumped the battleship...

{ The Devil : "Never make a deal with the devil..." he laughed to my heart's content, "Who said that you being trapped in that place would be paradise... Haha!"}
