Balen Vex watched on in terror as this powerful formation was rendered ineffective. He could not believe what sort of nonsense this was. If it were at least the doing of an undead mage called Lich, he could have accepted it, since it was said that Liches were highly talented in terms of spiritual magic.

Wasn't that skull-masked figure supposed to be a Death Knight? At least from the information he had received, this ghost race was definitely a warrior and not a mage-type Seeker? But then he suddenly thought of something. This being could likely possess a runecaster aspect; it was not something inconceivable after all.
The skull-masked man started walking again. Some small attacks went in and hit him, but he was unable to render the rune formations completely ineffective. These small attacks meant nothing to him, as he deflected them all quite easily.
