"Damn it! Why can't I use my abilities?!"
Doflamingo, trapped beneath the torii gates, struggled violently in an attempt to break free.
But no matter how hard he fought, it was all in vain.
"It's useless," Hashirama said calmly, leaping down to stand beside him. He looked down at the pinned warlord with a detached expression. "Once you've been nailed by my Myojinmon, there's no escape."
Though he heard Hashirama's words, Doflamingo refused to believe it.
Gritting his teeth, he summoned every ounce of strength to try and lift the dark red torii gates pinning him down.
But again—it was useless.
His Devil Fruit ability was completely sealed, and brute force couldn't budge the torii gates even an inch.
After several failed attempts, a rare flicker of panic appeared in Doflamingo's eyes.
For the first time, Donquixote Doflamingo—the infamous Heavenly Demon—was powerless, like a fish on the chopping block.
And Hashirama had no intention of showing mercy.
His body radiated intense Chakra and killing intent as he prepared to finish Doflamingo off once and for all.
Feeling Hashirama's rising aura, the helpless Doflamingo panicked.
He had never imagined that he would meet his end in a situation like this.
In that moment, he began to regret everything.
If he had made different choices back then, maybe things wouldn't have turned out like this…
"Wait! Kronos!!"
Just as Hashirama was about to strike, at that critical moment between life and death, Doflamingo cried out in desperation.
Hearing his shout, Kronos turned his attention toward him.
Before Kronos could respond, Hashirama paused mid-motion, holding off the final blow.
Kronos simply stared down at Doflamingo, waiting to hear what he had to say.
"Kronos, I regret the choices I made!" Doflamingo yelled hoarsely.
"I've changed my mind—I surrender to you! Okay?!"
His voice grew more frantic and desperate.
But Kronos merely shook his head and replied quietly, "You can't."
"What?!" Doflamingo's eyes widened in disbelief.
He shouted again, more hysterically than before.
"Why?! I'm surrendering to you! I can give you everything—my family's wealth, territory—everything!"
"I also know secrets about the World Government…!"
Just as he was about to go on, Kronos waved his hand to cut him off.
"I'm not interested in your wealth or territory," he said coldly. "And I don't care about the World Government's secrets either."
"If I wanted to know, I could go straight to the World Government and take the answers myself."
He looked Doflamingo straight in the eye and added flatly, "I gave you a choice from the very beginning. It's just a pity… you didn't take it."
Then, with a slight shake of his head, he concluded:
"Opportunities are fleeting. Once missed, they don't come back. There's no such thing as a medicine for regret."
